Re: 19 / 20 MBB Recruiting

Thomps0n better be a playmaker, not much of a shooter, in fact he sucks as a shooter, FG- 110 of 324= 34% 3 pt - 57 of 205= 27.8% FT- 90 of 135= 66.7% Started 16 of 88 games, does not look like an impact player, reserve at best!!! I hope CT turns it around. I also think there is selective memory. Hi...

Re: Do We Keep Jewett?

Using those arguments, Manieri needs to go at LSU both teams are losing to the rest of La. teams. I don't disagree on Jewitt should go but not with that argument.

LSU having the same issues with in state teams. Good baseball in La. Question Maneiri is on the hot seat, if fired should we consider him, he loves La.

Agree Robert when a pitcher is doing well leave him in, versus bringing in someone cold.

Re: Do We Keep Jewett?

Hire Matt Riser, this pitching staff, is not getting it done falls on Jewitt. Buck stops at the Head Coach!!! Starting to see flustration, Pellirin looked pissed when pulled, players showed flustration on the field. If things don't turn around by season's end start looking.

Re: Tale of two Pitching Staffs

Sit behind home plate when the guy has the radar gun on, I am not pulling things out the air. This is when they are struggling throwing strikes. Velocity suffers as they quit following through, Massey was doing it against UNO some of his balls dropped in front of home Plate. Raj has done it when he ...

Re: Tale of two Pitching Staffs

lol, Take Zack Hess trying to throw 95 mph pulls his groin??? They are winding up throwing hard!!! Watching the speed gun behind home plate some pitches by the Wave pitchers are low 80's and upper 70's. Lack of confidence to throw hard at the glove.

Re: Will Wade - Scumbag

This is an NCAA problem, Wade figured if he coached at LSU long term like Dale Brown he would make into the millions of dollars. So if I pay a million today, Long term I will get that back and more. The higher coaches salaries go up the more this will happen. Aranda assistant at LSU making more than...

Tale of two Pitching Staffs

Think about this two distinct different pitching staffs LSU and our Green Wave. LSU staff main issues has been healthy arms. Why they throw hard and follow through. Our Green Waves problem has not been sore arms but control problems. As a former pitcher and bowler this reflects on the issue. In both...

Re: SELA Spanks the Wave 10-3

Framing and moving when the pitcher is in his delivery are not the same. Nieman was hopping with pitchers in motion, If the pitcher is concentrating on the mitt at the same time that is a problem. When the pitcher begins his motion the catcher must be stationary. When the pitcher is in motion the ba...

Re: SELA Spanks the Wave 10-3

Present the pitcher with a good target. Your mitt should be held just above your knees or the knees of the batter. Your mitt should not obstruct your vision. A good rule of thumb is to provide your pitcher with a target as soon as he begins his windup. If the pitcher is in the stretch position, pres...

Re: SELA Spanks the Wave 10-3

Studied the catchers tonight. I was right. The problem goes beyond our pitching staff. Nieman does not give the staff a consistent target. He has a little jump most of the time the pitchers are in their windup. Southeasterns catcher is set when their pitcher is in motion. He was moving his glove ins...

Re: Moses Wood transferring to UNLV

Do you forget Hunter said he could make the NCAA Tournement with the players from last year. Do you not forget the Buddy T. to Tommy Bowden transition. Same players Bowden recruits did not hit the field in 1998. Bowden leaves what happened next. Quit making the players a scapegoat because you have n...

Green Wave Nation, to those that continuously show disrespect to student Athletes, let me remind the know it all's that like to act so knowledgeable and boast till there is no end. Remember Shawn King, Juan Dawson, and the 1998 Undefeated team. What was their record under Buddy Teavens, probably the...

They were not average players Woods was recruited by other lst class basketball programs. Sorry folks you don't win from scratch without keeping a solid base, hope Daniel, Seric, and Crabtree stay. Woods was a freshman caught in a bad situation, show respect and wish him well. You guys also don't know what pressure the athletes families place on them. Even if Woods wanted to return outsi...

Pitcher/Catcher

With all these pitchers having control issues the team needs to look at the pitcher and catcher interface. A good catcher works well with the pitchers and gives them an good target to hit with the glove. Very important that the pitchers and catchers work as a team. Pitchers look thru the batter at t...

Who can use it, I am participating in the Senior Olympics running the 5K in Albuquerque, NM on June 21. Altitude is 5,000 ft. I need to train for that altitude. Greenie fan since, 1962 think I could??? Test the results, I could be the guinea pig.
