Re: UCONN looking to leave AAC for Big East

UConn really thinks mighty of themselves. Losing value by association? https://twitter.com/djct1999/status/1143170093607731201 On October 12th UCONN will get a "reality check" at Yulman. :D Um you realize this is just two idiots with an internet connection? 🤔Yes, I realize that. And, as more proof ...

Im truly surprised with the offers alot of these guys have theyre not 4 stars. But of course our recruits could never be 4 stars, a commit to is literally a metric they use for not being 4 stars.
If Nick Saban even looked in his direction, he'd be 4 stars.

The momentum for our 2020 class just keeping building.
Yep, and to think just a few years ago under “Buffet” Bob Toledo we were generally locked in bitter tug-o-wars with the likes of Nichols State and Delta State for our recruits? This guy was offered by Oklahoma State!!!

Re: UCONN looking to leave AAC for Big East

I'm surprised no Cajuns have piped in proposing to have UL-Lafayette take UConn's place. Great idea! Thanks proposing them! And, perhaps as a little "lagniappe" in appreciation for their invite, Bobby Boucher (pronounced "Boo-Shay"), the ULALA Water Boy himself, might even give all of us a big cup ...

Re: UCONN looking to leave AAC for Big East

I hope it's USM. I totally understand the demographics and the desire to go west. But hey, that's what I hope. I like playing them. I'm with you. So are a lot of our fans that enjoyed the rivalry. I don't think it will be them unless the league gets shot down by all the others they seek to the west...

Re: New Team

Zion Williamson is going to kill our walk up and impulse ticket sales. We are not a basketball town and basketball interest is very limited . We had better hope we are not at home the same nights the Pels are . we will be totally empty those nights . Not if we have an exciting team that starts winn...

Re: New Team

The excitement is understandable, but some caution is in order. At the .53 , in response to “What should the fans be excited about for this season”, Coach Hunter said “winning.” I heard nothing about leading these young men through the travails of life, graduation rates, or even tillage and floricu...

Re: Graff leaving Tulane for Pels

Buddy just texted me. Is this correct. Hate to see it but he deserves better than that underwhelming athletic program. 🤔, Happy for Graf, but rather ironic that he is leaving the Wave now, while we are clearly trending up for football, and after Graf having endured all 16 years of the Cowen Nightma...

The Green Wave athletic department is determined to move from having the finest look in football uniforms (ex. '79 Rock Hontas) to the most ridiculous!!! In addition, having a totally different uniform for every game creates NO team identity or mark for non Tulane fans around the country. We have b...

Re: Tulane/LSU FB Camp 2019

I don’t like the idea of camping with LSU, but I have to trust Fritz’ judgement on whether it’s a net plus or minus for Tulane. I think this is the third such camp, and we have to admit that the two previous recruiting classes were quite good. 2018 was a very strong class, 2019 not far behind the 2...

They even asked coach fritz that tonight and he gave a non answer about non conference being scheduled very far in advance. Re: 2019 AAC Baseball Tourney Thread

Gillies just continues to be bad. I've never seen us have someone who is so prone to giving up homers every outing. Price stepped up. Yep, in the last 5.1 innings we gave up only one run, but our bats just couldn't dig us out of the 7 run hole we were in after the first 4 innings.. In many ways the...
