Re: Tulane Beats WSU in the CCG 11-10! Champs!

Jay has done an amazing job in completely turning around a program that his predecessor almost completely destroyed. If you can not see that this program is on a positive trajectory, you have not watched this team this season. Improvements in all areas! Back-to-back regional appearances (and I dont...

Re: Tulane Beats WSU in the CCG 11-10! Champs!

Where are the posters who want baseball dropped and the stadium bulldozed to expand football facilities? LOL I still think Turchin should be moved ot the property on Jeff Hwy / Claiborne Ave @ the Orleans, Jeff Parish line... that site is about 3 miles from the current stadium ...solves many issues...

Re: Tulane Beats WSU in the CCG 11-10! Champs!

Don't know if it's been mentioned here yet but Tulane has now played in 4 major sport conference championship games in the last 2 years; 2 in football and 2 in baseball. We have won 3 of them. There's a lot of Tulane bashing here; some of it deserved, but it's important to acknowledge that the tren...

So your sources claim Harris is the problem? I just don't believe that.
He is one part of it. Just not enough experience.
c'mon stop the madness, Harris knows TD

Re: NCAA Avalanche players now want a piece of the $2 billion payout

No, it will go down rather than up. But with Harris in charge, we are done starting in 2025. It pisses me off. I would suggest no one give any more money to athletics unless you enjoy Tulane sports no matter the circumstances. Why is Harris the problem at this point. He can't be blamed for Tulane's...

Re: NCAA Avalanche players now want a piece of the $2 billion payout

I refuse to believe that Tulane, USF and Memphis are not desirable entities and markets. No one thinks realignment is over and the next moves are the P2 stealing what they want and the next level P2 will need something to backfill. I think the ship has sailed with the settlement of this lawsuit. Al...

Re: NCAA Avalanche players now want a piece of the $2 billion payout

It’s over for the Tulane’s of the world. That’s why they’ll split off and have their own playoff. No way on earth will the typical G5 be able to pay that type of money. I think that's exactly where we'll end up. Some conferences will limit or eliminate the various pay plans (NIL, direct employment,...

Re: NCAA rules remains from PAC-12 now equal to Group of 5

What I think makes sense is 4 conferences with 16 teams each. I've been saying this for 15-20 years. It probably leaves Tulane on the outside looking in. They already have more than 64 P teams. Are you thinking they are kicking some out? I don't see that happening. I don't see that happening either...

Commits to Butler. I could talk about Hunter but why? Kind of surprised Butler thinks he is improving their situation. He was not what we hoped he would be here. His shooting was quite marginal and his game management skills seemed very average. We can do better, but will we? Who knows? College bas...

Re: G5 Playoff Only. Looks like they are finally giving in

We were never at the top of the list as some claim. We're still not. Sad but true. Though I don't think all of the teams on the hero sports list are ahead of us. There is no one school that his head and shoulders above the rest. As for that list, most of those schools are clearly a better fit than ...

Something definitely happened for all of the projections to be wrong. 7th round just started. Could Fritz have served up some negative observations? I have to believe any team considering Pratt would have questioned Willie. It wouldn't be the first time a coach purposefully or inadvertently torpedo...

You are leaving out one huge factor. Pratt was and in still would be a starter. Horton may not ever start unless there is an injury. If their talent levels were equal, Thompson would not have been recruited. Pratt was a savior for the University but through Pro Day, combine his weaknesses are expos...

One writer's opinion doesn't matter much. Also, the article fails to mention two important teams, Oregon State and Washington State. I think these teams will either create their own conference and recruit from the MWC and AAC, or become part of a larger Western Superconference. Ok. Now you have two...

If you read all my post, I mentioned Pratts edge on Kai, was being outspoken and leadership, where Kai was more reserve and not as vocal, But in 3 years with Pratt some of Pratt's attributes have rubbed off. Why did Mike Aresco retire and why is the new AAC commissioner Tim Pernetti for this? Aresco retired because he had no say so in the last reshuffle. ESPN forced his hand. So is Pernetti an ESPN plant? ESPN will benefit from a G5 playoff at the expense of a handful of top G5 schools. The bottom feed...

Quite a flip-flop from the one who has obsessed over Horton's high school career for the past three years. And a 180 from your preseason and early season evaluations of Pratt, last summer/fall. All it took was us signing Ty Thompson and your entire talk track goes into reverse. ABSOLUTELY THIS!!! I...
