Re: Tanner Lee

This post makes zero sense. How do u even come up with a comparison between the two QB’s? You're right, this makes no sense. There's little comparison between the two. Kapernick has played in the NFL, right up to a Super Bowl. Lee has watched from the practice squad, and didn't even make the "trave...

Love that clip, thanks for posting!

But man, I am going to miss Graf.
Very true. Graf has such energy and enthusiasm, along with unique voice inflection. I think he’s going to be very successful, as many non-Tulanians begin to appreciate his style and announcing ability.

By monitoring Tanner's training camp exploits, I really think we can get to the magical 100 before we open with FIU.

Re: 2019 FB Schedule

Here's a fun clip to watch while we're suffering through the dog days: https://twitter.com/HONEYSLOTH_13/status/1150850181119823873 I love the way McMillan runs. He's shifty at the line of scrimmage, and has a smooth effortless running style. I just hope his passing accuracy improves from last year...

Re: Top / Greatest Moments in Tulane Athletics History

Other memorable moments: Gerald Honeycutt's freak, last second, three point circus shot from the corner to beat [help, I can't remember]. Daryl Moreau's last second winning jump shot to beat a highly ranked, Keith Lee-led, Memphis team. I think that was the same team that beat Dale Brown's LSU team ...

Re: Top / Greatest Moments in Tulane Athletics History

From my standpoint, the 48-7 win in the Superdome followed by the 31-28 win in Baton Rouge. That's my Thanksgiving Freshman and Sophomore years! But we cannot forget the Wave rolling into Red Stick and blowing away Dale Brown's Tigers in the first round of the NIT in 1982. My best friend and roomma...

To recap: We want to hire a guy who first year on the job thought it was OK to screw a co-worker while his wife was expecting their child and now can only get a HS job, apparently because he knows everything about dumbbells. How very Tulane. Hopefully we hire the best baseball person available. Bec...

Forget hiring AC. I've heard that several athletics donors have threatened to withdraw their substantial financial support if AC is brought on.
I doubt that’s true, but if so, fuck em.
Amen, Pro. Screw’em. Do we want to win or not?

It’s not just the optics that are bad for Tulane baseball. The entire program is in disarray under the current leadership.

Re: CBS predicts 2019 Wins

The schedule is tougher and our D should be outstanding against any opponent. The key variable between us winning 5 or 8/9 games is how effective our new O will be. If Hall’s O can put up the numbers we have a real shot at 8 or 9 wins. With a strong O, we should be eye to eye with UCF and Houston.

Re: UCONN board approves move back to Big East

But going forward, watch out for the services academies now that it looks like any pro caliber players will be allowed to delay their mandatory service obligation until their pro career is over. This may well enable them to start attracting much better athletes--which combined with huge numbers of r...

R- I do realize that and thought I was clear on it. Everyone understands that quantity can skew the numbers. We do look at the quality and so far most of us like the way it's shaping up. Exactly. And while Quality is foremost, Quantity still matters (ie depth). With the new 25 annual limit in new r...
