Not great catch. Right in his hands. Same with James.

Re: Old School College Football - The Washington Examiner

Cowen was terrible but Rufus Harris with his deemphasis doomed Tulane athletics in the 50’s, then Rix yard piled on in the 60’s by dropping out of the SEC.

Re: Green Uniforms

Just like Texas’ burnt orange is unique, I wish we would actually use Olive green as our color. We would stand out as the only one using it.

One goal: come out of game healthy. Those Auburn defensive players are monster hitters.

Re: Thoughts on new Play by Play voice?

He was technically perfect which is what you’d expect from a Syracuse communication school graduate. Agree that over time I’d like to see him become emotionally attached to the program. To be honest, I think he was a great hire who is so good technically, he may attract bigger programs up east soone...

My biggest concern

Is that in an attempt to excel in the passing game, we lose our identity as a running team resulting in an mediocre offense caught in between philosophies. And that we find out that our QB excelled last year because we established the running game which caused lots of one on one man defense played a...

Re: Tanner Lee

Thursday August 8: 0-3 , one interception , sacked three times losing 17 yards . The beat goes on . The int was a pick six, an exact duplicate of the one he threw against GT in his very first game (opening Yulman). Quick slant where LB stepped in front. Great talent, just has not been able to pick ...

If the kid turned down $750,000 to come to Tulane, then is told he doesn’t qualify, I’d be a Little worried about a lawsuit.

That would be a no, IMHO. What happens is they reserve a spot in our class until and if they like something better.

Starting QB broke his ankle. Remember this was the guy who looked so good when he replaced Milton McKenzie after his catastrophic leg and knee injury. So they will be down to third string, I would think most of the year. Just our luck, we don’t play them until late November.

Re: Graff leaving Tulane for Pels

You had me going. I loved Bruce and Wayne. Funny story. When I was in school just prior to a Tulane away game against Miami one of the players told me that Tulane was going to run a double reverse flea flicker on the opening play. As the first pitch happened Bruce and Wayne were so excited they disc...

Re: How did you become a Tulane fan?

My dad went to Ole Miss so I grew up in late 50s early 60s as a Rebel diehard. So my deep hatred of LSU was ingrained in me. Did go to many "Cub Scout" Tulane games, so always pulled for them to upset LSU. Got lucky enough to get NROTC scholarship out of HS in 1970 and wanted to stay home so picked ...

Buddy just texted me. He’s going to the Pels. Is this correct?. Hate to see it but he deserves better than that underwhelming athletic program.
