Re: Fall Camp Thread

I remember seeing win's post on the YOGGIE board and I mentioned it in this thread the day that I noticed it. Later, after the chamberpot was dumped onto the electric cooling device, I looked on YOGGIE to see if the post was still there. It was not. Wish I had made a note of the user on that board w...

Re: Fall Camp Thread

In case no one noticed, a member on the Yoggie board copied and pasted win’s work on a new thread. That has also been deleted.

I would think the coaching staff would be honored and flattered that fans were this interested and involved. Too much drama.

Re: OOC Basketball Schedule 2019

If you don't like it, don't go. There will be people there who support Tulane Athletics regardless. This mentality is exactly why the same 500-1000 people show and no one else does. The point is to attract basketball fans out sorry but this home schedule won’t do it. That mentality is the proper on...

Re: #1 recruiting Class in the AAC as of 8/3 !

I have awakened to find myself in an alternate, parallel universe where Tulane is recruiting the brightest and best scholars, AND also the most talented athletes. I am suspicious of what my eyes and ears are telling me. Please let it be real. If momentum equals mass * velocity, past experience has s...

Re: Eddie Smith

You can't permit someone with a history of committing adultery while his wife is pregnant with their child to have any sort of leadership role in your school or community. This could set a moral precedent for the highest offices in the land. Oh wait.... Hire the best person available. Screw the pol...

Re: Top / Greatest Moments in Tulane Athletics History

Two of the greatest moments in recent history:
1)-Tulane hires NBA former coach of the year, Mike Dunleavy as basketballl coach
2) Tulane fires NBA former coach of the year, Mike Dunleavy as basketball coach.

Re: 2019 FB Schedule

I think the FIU game will be the litmus test for the season. If we come out and take care of business, this Tulane team will be in their way. If we come out and drop a load against FIU, look out, things could get very tough. It wouldn't be a Tulanish year if we didn't soil the bed clothes once or t...

Re: UCONN looking to leave AAC for Big East

Also worth noting: while I don;'t think staying at 11 is likely, it isn't completely crazy for a year or two. One less school to divvy up the money from the TV contract with. If we can't get a program we want, then sit for a year or two. Tell the teams that were borderline exactly what they'd need ...

Re: How did you become a Tulane fan?

I grew up on my grandparent's struggling dairy farm in the poverty belt of northwest Louisiana. My mother died when I was born and was laid to rest on her 20th birthday. I don't actually remember why or when I began to follow Tulane but I do remember announcing to my grandfather when I was ten that ...
