Re: Why are we unable to recruit locally ?

I don't care how much support they get. When you have kids "graduating" as valedictorian of their public school class and yet failing the GEE, what does that say for the education they got? And if they're the brightest of the group, what does it mean for the athletes, who many times come ...

Re: Tulaned Again, Tulane loses to Tulsa 30-24

We can take some comfort from the fact that few fan bases could endure what the Tulane fan base has to endure routinely. I really think the university should consider stoping D1 Fball and Bball. It is a waste of money at this point. Sad. We have a great recruiting area for Fball and can barely get ...

Could be any number of things. The 17 year old kid doesn’t owe a random dude who graduated decades ago an explanation why he doesn’t want to play football at his alma mater. that tweet from the gotula account was embarrassing.

Pratt wasn't 100 percent lights out, but he came in and looked in charge the whole time. Very impressive for a true freshman with all these other circumstances. Water under the bridge, but I agree the Navy game would've looked different had he been in. He needs to be starting next week.

Re: Navy Score Prediction Thread

Wave 35 Navy 21 I think we buck the neck-and-neck trend of this series the past 4-5 years. The offense has found it's groove, Navy's option gets a couple breakaways but overall the defense handles them. Even disregarding COVID, Navy was trending downward this year. Then the boneheaded move to go no-...

it was ugly, but it was a win..Iowa State, K-State can't say the same thing, after playing SBC teams..Hell Texas Tech stuggled with Houston (Baptist) to win by 3...and it was closer than the score indicated.... https://www.nola.com/sports/tulane/article_900a8a52-f56f-11ea-89b4-cb7fdef219b0.html htt...

Finished and the masochist in me figured I'd check the score one last time. 1:30 left in the fourth, tulane up 3, we punt and USA gets a personal foul, we kneel out a win. WTF happened?!?!?!? Wave 24

USA 7

Defense won't have a problem and USA gets a TD late against some 2nd, 3rd stringers. I think the offense will start slow, betting there's still some kinks to work out. Still, not worried about not outmatching them at any point.

Hmmm, I'd assume it'll mostly be limited to player's family. I'm frankly shocked we've made it this far. I want to see what this team can do as much as anyone, buuuuut, I'm wary of how the season pans out, and not from a wins and losses perspective.

Been a minute since I've posted. Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Harvard announced this morning all classes in fall *and* spring will be online. Surely you can't justify fielding a football team (or any other sport) when 99 percent of the student body is at home. My understanding was that a lot...

Post-Katrina Tulane dropped the application fee causing apps to skyrocket. Genius.
