I still don't think he takes a snap in a regular season NFL game. If he does, watch for the pick 6's.
Probably not a bad thing if he never does take a regular season snap. Ryan Griffin has made out pretty well that way.

Re: Riley Conroy named Director of Recruiting at Southeastern

Congrats! Great gig over there. Riley has a good bit of local contacts that will help him I’m sure. Great gig. In what world? I know it’s not much but they did beat us last year. For a kid recently out of college he’s probably one of the youngest Director of Recruiting in the country. So it’s a goo...

Re: Jay Uhlman...Ass't Baseball Coach

I would like to hear from some of you wise guys about what this hire means and how you think this is going to play out. (Head coach in waiting?) https://twitter.com/GreenWaveBSB/status/1150860291527364610 No, not the head coach in waiting. I think it’s going to play out like this: He’s here for 1 s...

Re: Jake Gautreau

Heard he was in Lafayette at ULL. It would be something if he got the job and brought Andy in as his top assistant. He and Andy had a falling out through the debacle of the 2018 season, but maybe they’ve made up. According to D1 baseball, Gautreau and AC are both candidates at ULL with Deggs being ...

Re: Eddie Smith

I reverse my previous position on AC if this goes thru and if ES was the cause. Really, July to take a "volunteer" position. Thanks ES. Even if TJ gets canned next year, ES would do better to get a full time "paid" position at a D1 school at the close of the 2020 season. But AC needs to come in and...

If anyone's interested, Dylan O is playing on the Cleveland Cavaliers summer league team.
I remember people saying Sehic was better than Osetkowski. I always thought that was ridiculous.

Forget hiring AC. I've heard that several athletics donors have threatened to withdraw their substantial financial support if AC is brought on.

This can one of few things. Jewett pushed him out? Sign that Jewett is on his way out, the staff knows and is potentially jewetts last year and eddie smith got out ahead of sinking ship . Re: Wave lands a commitment from Justin Ibieta QB!!!!

This one has nothing to do with TJ. It has everything to do with his playing QB and not being in a position to miss any time in spring practice and he can't risk his arm being injured which is happening frequently in the sport of baseball. I agree. Anthony Scelfo played QB and baseball but his futu...

Must be nice to have Vandy money.
The team avg is 93% tuition coverage.
So 7% of tuition is all you need to come up with to play baseball at Vandy.
Where’d you see that?

Re: CWS #1 seed jinx continues now straight 20 years

There's 4 teams left in the CWS: Michigan (B1G) Texas Tech (Big 12) Vanderbilt (SEC) and Louisville (ACC). Vandy looks the strongest. I’m actually surprised they weren’t seeded #1 and UCLA #2. And therein may be the answer to why the #1 seed has failed to win it all over the past 20 years--poor see...

Re: Graff leaving Tulane for Pels

I wonder when the last time we were a top 50 baseball program? Or when we should invest $$ to be a consistent top 20 baseball program? We put way too much into the stadium , thinking we'd be top 25 every year when the rule changes make that almost impossible. And the payoff to do so doesn't give a ...

I hope he plays all 3 sports for the Wave.
Would not be wise.
Football and baseball is fine and has been done by many.
Football and basketball has been done by a few, but it’s harder on your body and the seasons overlap.
Playing all 3 would not be a good idea.

As much as it pains us to say it it is the best baseball conference by far and they are in the toughest division in baseball. They've done a lot better than .500 in it to get there in most of their NCAA years. They would no doubt make us much better. We'll have to agree to disagree. Agree to disagr...

They both are in the toughest conference in the country and in what is by far the best Division in the country. All the schools there have the same resources. Silly stuff going on here. There are pros and...
