Re: Could an Indoor Practice Facility be coming Nov ‘23? Stay tuned...

Another half ass facility 100% We are shoe horning an inflatable “IPF” into a tiny space. If this is what it takes to check off a facilities requirement for some future conference, then have at it. If we have a prolonged period of inclement weather, we’ll be riding buses to the Saints facility. An ...

Re: Could an Indoor Practice Facility be coming Nov ‘23? Stay t

Results seems to me that many here who screamed about facilities being the reason we aren't in the P group often cited the lack of an IPF as an example. Now that we are getting one, the posts are starting to pop up that we don't need it. This is the root of my problem at this site that, for several...

Re: Could an Indoor Practice Facility be coming Nov ‘23? Stay tuned...

It’’s a good thing that there isn’t progress on the IPF. We need to focus on what really matters as a leading member of the AAC by providing results on the field. Today we stand a better chance of making it to the 12 team playoff than the vast majority of P4 programs. I can see a 16 team playoff fo...

I don’t presume to know a damned thing about engineering, but I do know how awful it is to have a high school set of bleachers off the West side of Yulman. That has to be resolved ASAP. Perhaps we can squeeze up a second tier with comfortable amenities above the west side bleachers. A blister IPF me...

Re: The Students are revoltin'

I have no idea why you think you can put a dome over an existing stadium, never mind a stadium that has no room for additional pilings. Yulman was built for expansion, dome would be no issue!!! Check Brown to the West including the roadway, then head to the staduim, Use that portion of Reilly, perf...

The students are spot on. We need a retractable cantilevered dome over Yulman by raising the north, south & west sides.

Re: Spring Practice-2024

Any news on the secondary situation? It's easy for a defense to show pre-snap cover 1 & 0. In theory this will intimidate the opposing QB by obscuring where pressure can be sent from. In practice, you actually have to have DB's who can cover man to man & DL who have great technique & &q...

The television networks need to install an administrative authority for Football only.
MLB & NBA currently have advanced talent development programs. Football does not. My guess would be something along the lines of an IMG on each campus to put some constraints NIL/Collectives payouts.

When was the last time we played a service academy bone & won? I hope we do a better job than UCF did in 2022 & Baylor’s bowl loss to Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl. That archaic gem of an offense is going to be an interesting challenge for conference DC’s to shut down . We’re 0 for the ...

As a player, you know when you’re being coached well by a position group coach.
As a fan you can see the results of DC/OC tactics.
As a Head Coach you can see how the menagerie is putt to strategy.
As an opposing player you are real quiet watching film.

Re: QB Ty Thompson

O-lineman, D-lineman & cover 0 db’s you can have a sh*tbird at QB & still win most, if not all of your games ( with very good coaching).
I don’t know of a team sport position group that is that is given more & less credit for the outcome of games.
It funny to watch it all play out.
