Re: Facilities Upgrade/Expansion

It looks great but is it not just a remodel of the same weight room we have had for 20 yrs? Honest question and not a knock on the gift or the facility. Thank you Slatten family!

Re: Historical Loss As Wave loses 20th straight To WSU 82-79 to Go Winless In Conference

Clearly the red lights are already on before 0.00, but isn't there some dumb rule that its when the red lights go off vs the clock? Doesn't matter, but just caught my eye. Granted the red lights usually go off when it says 0.0 so maybe its all the same, but not at Tulane!

How are there 51 schools worse than us? Only 4 teams with worse records than us. We are getting P6 bias treatment!!!

Re: Mike Dunleavy is now worst of the worst

These are not opinions. Records speak for themselves. I would say that when Dunleavy was hired, we expected wins. Wins from the result of splash hire recruiting and experienced coaching. I am not saying 30 wins. I am just saying wins. We haven't seen it yet. Basketball turnarounds occur within 2-3 y...

He's an upgrade for them. Yea, but last year that guy Hicks threw for 3 TDs and passed for just under 300 yards against us? Tulane v. SMU 2018 was one of the most miserable and disapointing Tulane games I have been to in years; including a fictitious lightning game delay which seemed like it lasted...

Re: ECU Game Thread

I do not think we will go 0-fer in conference (because that is rare), but I think we split the ECU games and thats it. The only way we win is we shoot lights out as a team. Any mediocre performance most likely isn't good enough. Our biggest problem is that we basically spot the opposing team 10-15 p...

Re: Tulane blows out USF and Kansas’ coach is fired the next days. Coincidence?

I have a buddy of mine who went to KU and he posted on facebook who people would want as a replacement. Les Miles of course most popular, but did see more than expected WF's thrown in the mix with responses of people asking about WF. Those are just fans, but people in Kansas know WF and its not beca...

Re: BOWL PROJECTIONS

I honestly can't even think or talk about this until after Homecoming. This next game vs. ECU has the classic Tulane disappointment / letdown setup. And we all know what has happened in the past. This. First off, its homecoming. We must have the worst homecoming record this century. Second, we play...

Re: Line Closing Memphis 14.5 pts. > Tulane

One thing to remember, we had a LOT of drops tonight that were good throws. McMillan may win the job eventually but I dont think tonight was not the night. Did he throw another pass all night? Banks played a good game and made good decisions. The commentators made some dumb comments about the rpo wh...

Re: Wave beats the Wave Again as UAB wins 31-24

Seen a few hs games in Texas recently and nearly all teams are running some shotgun spread/rpo offense. Havent seen a proset, option set, or even a QB under center in awhile. Im not a hs football advocate by any means, but thats the offenses i have seen and have seen on recruits or signees highlight...

Looking around for some updated AAC previews. Found this one from a few days ago which nails the state of the program. They have us finishing dead ass last.

The chat interaction isn't for me, but I think it is a cool feature. Would have been neat to have polls for rulings on the field. Of course they would probably be very bias, but could be interesting tidbits. Better than texting in what you thought as it is real time info. It was better than the Nich...

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

One of the worst coching performances i have seen by “good” coaches. Banks was pathetically awful that im lost for words, but looks like there were defensive missed assignments on majority of the plays. Why we didnt load the box and make that QB throw more makes no sense. He wasnt good. No one hardl...

Re: UAB Prediction Thread

And win or lose this week, it will have ZERO impact on how good a coach Willie Fritz is. I don't understand this take. I think this is an important game for WF. Each game contributes to his body of work. In that sense it does impact how good a coach is. If referring to his legacy at previous school...

Re: Nicholls St. Game Thread

Banks missed a lot of throws and looks like he missed reads in the run game. I think he will improve throughout the year. One game into the season is hard to tell. WF could end up being 8-5 again or 2-10. If they end up being a better team, then I think we will improve throughout the year and hopefu...

Re: Temple ends Tulane's season 82-77 in the AAC Tourney

I have watched a lot of basketball the last couple weeks and in some of the lower conferences, their bigs would be welcome here. We have no post presence at all and it stretches our defensive players bad. It was the root of so many foul outs. I mean, Paul would be on the bench after 2 possessions be...

Re: Chris Scelfo

So the team was torn on that decision. The upperclassmen were in strong support of playing. As seniors, we were not being told anything positive about us getting an extra year or any accommodation. I remember the feeling of "if we do not play this year, our college careers are done". That was tough ...
