Re: Spring Game Report- 2024

Kam Hamilton was on the sideline, in street clothes wearing his jersey. Same with TE Bauman. Glad to see Celestine playing again. All of the RB’s looked good. There was at least three times that the QB was touched by a defensive player and the whistle wasn’t blown for a sack. Looked like Coach Sumra...

The past of both QBs doesn’t matter now. What they do in Spring and Fall camp matters now.

Re: WSU Game Thread

This team has talent. However, they lack discipline, which is a result of not having good coaching.
As pointed out by many fans, the offensive and defensive schemes are hugely flawed. Substitution patterns, or lack there of, are head scratching.

Re: Memphis Game 2 on Super Bowl Sunday

The team has talent. The problem is the coaching. The scheme on offense and defense is a problem. Lack of substituting is a problem.

Re: 2024 Baseball Season

All the talk about height, and the Friday and Saturday starters stand 6-0 and 5-11. Should they be called "openers", instead of starters. Two career relievers are now starting. Doesn't make much sense to me, unless this staff has unlocked their starting talent. Any takers on that happening...

Re: Tulane Tough Enough To Sink Pirates

Maybe this is what this Tulane team is capable of this season. Maybe having to change 6 or 7 coaches from from last season is the reason for the close games. Maybe Coach Fritz has his thumb on both coordinators. Maybe Coach Fritz relies on that damn analytics book too much. Wait, that is a definite,...

Defense repeatedly having trouble lining up. Lining up late.

Offense needs to keep running between the tackles.

Two costly drops.

Not sure if I used my phone during timeouts. Used it with no problem to purchase a few adult beverages in the 3rd quarter.
Connection was terrible last season for internet usage and purchasing food and beverages.

Re: Stadium Signage

I did have a good internet connection during the South Alabama game. I had to look up the rosters. Maybe the connection was better on the visitor side. As for the lack of printed rosters at the entrances, I did mention it on the survey.

Re: Ole Miss Game Week Thread

Two players that will be missed most, other than Spears, Anderson and Williams, is Will Wallace and Macon Clark. Wallace was a superior blocker in last year’s offense. Clark made many big plays. He made big time tackles at big time moments. He set the tone for the defense, IMHO. Who steps up in thei...

The problem with the stadium signage was that it was faded. It needed a fresh coat of paint, like some on the outfield fence at Turchin.

By the way, the $3 beer was not Miller High Life or PBR. Those two were replaced by………Montucky Cold Snacks. Yes, it is a beer. It was born in Montana, but is brewed in Wisconsin. FWIW, PBR is better. $3 beer was located in the corner of student section end zone and visitor side. Miller High Life and PBR.
Also, a booth was on the Newcomb side of the tailgate area.

Marucci Sports’ CEO is Kurt Ainsworth, former pitcher at LSU. He has a son named Alex. Tulane has a baseball recruit from Catholic High named Alex Ainsworth. Maybe Tulane baseball will get a supply of those Marucci bats.

Your criteria is just different than the Maxwell Award people. Can we leave it at that? It is some publicity for Tulane and Michael Pratt. No harm, no foul.
