It's like 3-4 hours from that market.

Re: JMU vs Tulane (Football)

It would be a good test for us, but I do think the way Fritz and Sumrall are recruiting, the Wave would be overly physical. I watched JMU last season while rooting for them to lose only because I didn't want them to have an argument over Tulane for the NY6 spot. They execute really well, but they do...

Re: Great story on Will Wade

Why does this board keep getting filled with non-Tulane stories Sanders now Wade. Both individuals have had a history of character flaws that would never be excepted by the University. Their stories belong elsewhere, Wade is an LSU story not a Tulane story. Focus on the Wave please!!! This is the n...

Re: Great story on Will Wade

They played scared. The moment was too big for them and they were really undersized against a veteran Gonzaga squad. He was pretty emotional after the game. But still a great season here in Lake Charles with a dormant program selling out several games. and winning 30 games. I think he will be back n...

Part of their attendance in 2016 was hosting Oklahoma at NRG Stadium in the opening weekend which boosted their attendance. They also had a huge Thursday Night home game against Louisville and Lamar Jackson. They won both of those games, but lost 3 AAC games that season.

Re: Hunter sez's

I've gotten to see what Will Wade has done here closely at McNeese going to several games and having my nephew work with the team. He would instantly bring Tulane to the NCAA tournament next season, but unfortunately he won't sniff this job unless he wants to stay in the state. I think he stays at M...

With Stockton retiring, this takes care of one decision for basketball. Will see what AD Harris wants to do for MBB.

The RPI top 25 today includes James Madison, UC Santa Barbara, Coastal Carolina, Indiana St, Campbell, Kennesaw St, UC Irvine, and our own East Carolina. The "big boys" aren't keeping them down. A good coach & a solid budget is all it takes. We have the baseball facilities. Again, I h...

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris

It's been almost 30 years since this team has made the Big Dance. No reason for this to continue. Need to hire someone serious who won't make excuses and will find a way to win. Hunter doesn't have what it takes to do that here. He doesn't want to adjust.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris

Still need to know what's going to happen with women's basketball too. But it seems like Stockton has a lifetime contract and won't retire anytime soon. Carlin Hartman is interesting. A member of the original "Posse" and he's been a long-time assistant including Associate Head Coach at Flo...

Re: UNT Beats Hunter-81-71

My last game I attended was the George Mason game. I knew them that this team was done. They were exhausted in the 2nd half and lost after a double digit lead. That was in December. Players were already worn out at that time due to lack of subbing players on Hunters part. Yep. He played more guys i...

Re: Tulane v. UNT- AAC Tourney Game Thread

Anyone wonder why Forbes was struggling all season? The only time he made an impact on the game was when he was trying to start altercations. Otherwise he disappeared this season.

Most disappointing season since the last two Honeycutt seasons which effectively killed the Perry Clark era.

Cobra Kai has the ability to read defenses and anticipate throws. He needs to have time and also trust his ability. I also he would flourish in an Air-Raid or a pro-style offense. RPO doesn't suit him.

Donors will have to donate whether it's for NIL or facilities. But eventually the NCAA will continue to take losses and some sort of employee model will take over, especially for the P2.

I agree WW. Need a sweep since ULOL's RPI is pretty bad. I'm glad the team is improving, but I'm also not buying in until we dominate conference play and consistently beat quality teams. This conference is winnable since ECU doesn't look great so far.

Re: WSU Game Thread

Typical Jaylen Forbes this season with a mediocre game and trying to start an altercation. He represents everything wrong with a Hunter coached team. Unnecessary cheap shot on the Wichita player, on Senior Day especially. But this has been his story all year with little production, but starting alte...
