Re: Women's Basketball 2020-21 Season thread
I watched the game yesterday. It was close till the last minute. Difference was rebounding and 3-point shooting. Jordan is legit. She’s fun to watch.

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Discussion
Our cases and hospitalizations in Lake Charles have dropped quite a bit as well. However we were told in a hospital memo that cases are expected to uptick in March with the new variant, but we will wait and see. Too bad the vaccine doesn’t work against the common cold because I caught it from my kid...

He’s an upgrade IMO. Solid hire for UCF.

Re: ex UCF Coach Heupel
What a terrIble hire by Tennessee. Heupel took over what was clearly the best team in the AAC to being surpassed by Cincy, Tulsa, and Memphis at the very least. His teams are soft, undisciplined, and play no defense. He’ll get embarrassed in the SEC.

Yeah I’m assuming that because the way it was written it seemed Toledo brought Losman to Tulane.

I think he meant Toledo was the coach at UCLA when Losman transferred to Tulane.

I got the second vaccine dose and had fever and chills for day or so but it went away. I feel ok now.

Re: Cyron Sutton
Welcome Cyron. We have a qb who can deliver you the ball. Small 5'10" 185 lbs, to win in the AAC we need big tall receivers 6' 2" or taller, the kind that gives Jaylon Monroe trouble on jump balls. The kind the Tigers get. Reason Sutton ended up at McNeese too small for major college Football!!! He...

Re: AAC Bowl performance
Good game. Cincy played well but the offense struggled once the LT was ejected. It was like watching a Tulane offense without Claybrook.

Re: Cyron Sutton
As per FTW: “ Sutton was a star for McNeese as an all-Southland player who set schools records for receptions in a season (67) and a game (13)”. So this is a step in the right direction. . . A receiver who can catch the ball. He must have gone to class at mcneese as willie and the staff always do t...

I got my vaccine two weeks ago and scheduled to get the second dose next week. Outside of mild soreness at the injection spot, I didn’t have any side effects. I felt fine.

Mask supporters? U mean every medical professional? Every doctor. Every nurse. Literally anyone in the medical profession. EVERY SINGLE ONE! But RobertM320 knows better. Do you. I know several nurses that call bullshit on mask-wearing. I wear them not because I believe in them but because I can't s...

Re: AAC Bowl performance
The QB pretty much lost this game on his own with two brutal picks deep in MSU's territory. They outgained MSU by almost 200 yards and lost because their QB choked.

Re: Depleted Green Wave’s bowl loss will not stop progress
The team has plateaued and with it recruiting. Need to have a breakthrough season this year. Talent is there to win. Need better execution and game-planning especially on the defensive side. Also need more resources put in to compete consistently. We’re not losers anymore but not consistent winners ...

Re: Nevada Whips Tulane 38-27 in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Thread
A lot of overreaction from a bowl game in Idaho. New coordinators, opt outs. I was hoping for a win but didn’t expect it. The game was for the taking until Pratt’s horrible 3rd interception. It was pretty much over after that.

Re: Famous Idaho Potato Bowl GameDay Thread
This game really shows that our talent and depth is very thin and we better hope that recruiting picks up. Not bullish going into next year. Where’s the young talent on defense? Our recruiting has been better. Guys were injured as well especially in the secondary. This game doesn’t reflect any of y...

Re: Famous Idaho Potato Bowl GameDay Thread
Not surprised this game turned out this way. Too much turnover and a short amount of time to get ready for the game. Plus not having everyone playing. This game won’t mean anything going into next season.

Aresco needs to be very careful on not adding too many teams especially from the west coast. Keep it somewhat regional.

Re: Boise to the AAC looking more likely
I would pass on Boise or any other MWC team. Only team I would add for all sports is BYU. The AAC is fine as it. They don’t need Boise.
