Re: Athlon 2020 Tulane Preview

I think we’ll beat Navy and be competitive against most teams on the schedule, but unless the QB play improves, I’m still seeing 6-6.

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Discussion

TPS, you continue to spread conspiracy theories because the truth isn’t on your side. Keep it up buddy. You’re about to look bad again like you did in March. This is not your field so stop pretending you know anything about what’s going on. The virus doesn’t kill right away once someone is infected....

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Discussion

If people can mass protest in the street, then society can open up fully with special precautions for the elderly, assisted living, and nursing homes. People need to relax and look at the data. No reason why we can’t have fans now with social distancing and masks in place. The panic needs to go away...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Discussion

This virus is trending down with daily new cases despite increased testing and also with daily deaths. The hospital I work at is only down to one case. Far more people have gotten it than reported due to lack of testing early on and false negative rates and majority of people under 70 have done fine...

Re: 2020 Football Season

Taulia Tagovailoa from Alabama has entered the transfer portal as he was 5th on the depth chart. Go get him, Willie & Co. He wouldn't be eligible this year, but will have 3 years of eligibility left. Maryland? Really? https://twitter.com/tauliaa12/status/1261440258941452288?s=20 Maryland’s HC was a...

Re: Tulane Players in the 2020 NFL Draft

Pratt will probably get playing time this season. Likely so. Fritz has lamented this offseason about not getting more meaningful playing time for Howard in order to have him prepared for this year. So I would expect he wouldn't repeat that when it comes to Pratt. The only way that changes is if we ...

It’s true winwave. He got beat out by a true frosh for a reason. Maybe he’s just better suited as a spread dual option QB. But question marks with Howard as a passer too.

It’s either get paid $500k in the G-League or get disqualified for someone paying for his meal. Pretty easy decision. Up to the NCAA to fix this problem.

M320 continuing to take Ls on this topic. Germany has had the best response overall. Their mortality rate is the lowest currently. Trump, the CDC, and FDA didn’t do what was needed early on. The CDC and FDA didn’t supply early on with testing and when testing wasn’t possible, Trump didn’t act fast e...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Discussion

For sure Trump didn’t take it seriously early on, but the big culprits are the CDC and FDA. Their inaction is the biggest reason the virus spread because we didn’t have enough testing early on. They have a lot of blood on their hands. Not to mention certain curmudgeon Greenbackers who suggested the ...

Let's hope and pray that Chloroquine is safe and effective against Covid-19. If it is, and especially if it is safe as a prophylactic against the virus, then everything will calm down this summer for sure. This med is about 70 years old, so it should be completely safe. Even if it is only partially...

A big concern is that a second wave of this virus will start in the fall once the weather starts to cool which is also when flu season starts.

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Discussion

You guys are so clueless. Seriously. We haven’t seen anything yet and those numbers aren’t accurate at all because of the lack of testing here and in other countries. Sure the majority of people will have limited symptoms, but those people will be able to infect so many more prone to serious symptom...

Re: 1918 Spanish Fly

The flu wouldn’t be as deadly if everyone would get vaccinated for it.

At least with the flu we have readily testing, vaccines, and treatment. We have none of these for the Corona. It’s gonna infect close to 100 million killing at least a million in this country.
