Tulane 56
Missouri St. 6

We shouldn't have any issues with this game. Defense dominates. Offensive scheme and penalties will dictate how much we score.
With all due respect to winwave, NOLABigSteve was only 2 points off. Very good prognostication.

Re: Tulane loses to Auburn 24-6

The catch the Auburn defender made on the throw that McM was trying to throw away was more difficult than the one Mooney dropped in the end zone. And he dropped it, you have to hold onto the ball all the way to the ground. The targeting call was legit, it went helmet to helmet. The call that I coul...

Re: 8/29 Big Night for AAC!!!

Memphis beats Ole Miss, 15-10 and, while I’m happy for the AAC, the sportswriters’ Pick to win the West just got by a not so great P5 program. Still, a decent win.

Re: 2020 football recruiting

I agree. It's hard to imagine we will keep ALL of these kids, but it's obvious that Coach Fritz and his staff are selling something that is very appealing. I'm sure there's at least a few kids on here that we'll lose if a P5 offer comes along. Especially if its a better P5 program. We'll see. I did...

Re: How did you become a Tulane fan?

My uncle took me to the Tulane-Alabama game in 1960. I was 7. I got to actually see Tommy Mason play and thought that was special. Bama was led by 3rd year head coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. We tied the #5 Crimson Tide, 6-6, with a late TD...missed the PAT. We left the game to "beat the traffic" and FIN...

Re: More Baseball Schollies?

There was an article in The Advocate today about women's gymnastics making a big push for two more scholarships. If they get them maybe baseball can pick up two. Still wouldn't be enough but anything helps. The NCAA limits baseball to 11.7 scholarships and has strict rules about how they must be sp...

Can't believe Haskin didn't get Newcomer of the Year. He's a five tool player. What a joke.
I guess he needed to bat .470 instead of .370. Ridiculous!

Re: AAC Tourney Thread

We play UCF Tuesday night. The game will probably start between 7 and 7:30. Tough opening game. UCF beat us 2 out of 3 at Turchin. It can be watched on the AAC site. Roper will start on four days rest. He threw 57 pitches on Thursday so he should be good to go. Are you projecting 7-7:30 CDT? The ti...

GREAT WIN after getting outscored 22-2 in the first 2 games.

Down 5-0, you come back!
Cellucci gives it his all!
Trent Johnson throws 2 DP pitches and, thank the Lord, the IF comes up with the one we needed.
We hit the krap out the ball!

In spite of the 30 mph gusts blowing out, Cellucci came in and slammed the door. We continued to hit like no Tulane team since 2005. Jensen had a whale of a day, 4-for-6, 2B, HR and 6 ribbies. On a day when Hoese went 1-for-4 (he did homer), other guys contribute and this “spreading of the offensive...
