Foley was a very late signee. Ellender told me himself that after looking at film on Foley, his intercept to passes thrown was very low and they signed him.

I think his family can afford Tulane. Tuition at Northfield Mt Herman for boarding students a paltry $63,000 + a year.

In 68-69 season Tulane beat LSU in both games. First at LSU’s barn in OT 101-98. Sylvester had 32 points & 22 rebounds. Back in Nawlins in February Tulane beat the tiggers 110-94. One must remember Tulane sill has 4 or open spots. So finish strong and Tulane will move up a lot more.

You can add Howard K Smith to the Ferriday alum list. A former Rhodes Scholar and a former track athletic who held a few records at Tulane

In the 2001 Super Regional, Frank kept calling Alex Box, the kitty litter box. Referring to all the homers Lsu was hitting in small stadium. It was funny him degrading tiggers. He’ll do well at SLU and the students, alums & fans there will appreciate him.
