Re: Dec 1, 1973 Tulane's 14-0 win over LSU glory days
Okay, I'm gonna take this back to the real reason why LSU considers Tulane irrelevant today. Think back to '96. Tulane played LSU in Baton Rouge in what was to be the last game (for a while at least) in the series, because Joe Dean had cut off the series. Smartest thing he ever did for LSU in retros...

Re: Wake Forest Gameday Thread
Keep thinking back to 1996-97. 1996 Tulane was 2-9 with terrible offense, Shaun King completely ineffective at QB and offensive line full of fifth year seniors. 1997 Tulane wins opening against Cincinnati, offense looks good, inexperienced offensive line does the job. Shaun King plays really well b...

Went to Jerry's, uh, let's call it a celebration. You wouldn't believe how many folks were there. They had several sign-in books, and that may not have been enough. RIP Jerry.

Re: They give out the Heisman tonight. Who is your favorite?
Henry will win, but McCaffrey is the best player. The Navy QB was screwed by not being invited to NY. That may be true, but if he had been invited he would have had to turn it down. There is this game today of somewhat importance to college football which he would have had to miss to be there. THAT...

Mine is Christian McCaffery (son of Ed). Check out the video below and you will see why.
And he is only a soph. He now wears Reggie Bush's USC number 5. I love the way he switches hands with the ball when the situation calls for it.

I know that most of us here were either at the press conference to introduce our new AD or have seen the video. But for those who haven't done either here is the video of that press conference.

Doesn't matter if he reads it or not jonathan. He already knows what his challenges are and he will find out how much the TU fans want and deserve the success they have pined for when he is introduced on the public on Friday.

You know what. I don't ever remember TU charging for mailing your tickets. This is apparently what the processing fee is for. If this is indeed what it is for, then don't complain when they charge for costs that have risen in the last few years. And MicMan, I bet you still have your first communion ...

Re: Football season ticket renewal call....
I don't understand. I received my 2015 ticket and TAF renewal form in the mail this week. I am in the same section/row/seats(2) as last year and my donation and ticket prices did not increase (with a renewal by 05/30) just as Drew Davenport told me when he contacted me. And although there is a "...

Many people including myself feel 247 Sports is the best ranking service as it is an average of the other services. Currently Tulane has 6 three star athletes and no four or five stars there as verbal 2015 commitments. Last year I think we signed nine three stars and maybe one four star. This year ...

The 14 to zip game was great . they were all great. I lived in BR when we won 31-28. That was the most improbable win since we were just average and they were going to the orange bowel.
