And still, no congratulations from Scott Cowen? https://twitter.com/TulaneScott/status/1610273177539645443 Thank you, Doc. And the man who laid the foundation was glued to the TV: Mr. Dickson hasn't forgotten us. And the new coach appears to be following the Dickson model with a "developmental...

The excitement is understandable, but some caution is in order. At the .53 , in response to “What should the fans be excited about for this season”, Coach Hunter said “winning.” I heard nothing about leading these young men through the travails of life, graduation rates, or even tillage and floricul...

Please end this waste of time we have the best coach credential wise in the history of the University and narrowly focused individuals that can't see in front their nose keep wanting to undermine every coach Dannon hires before they can establish a solid program. Easy for you jackals to criticize But the life of Vance is not an easy life. I had to take a trip to Hawaii this summer; it was incredibly tiring and I only had a week of rest after the trip before I had to return to work. And upon my return, my boss informed me that I had to - get this - wear a tie...

It looks like the South Alabama series has been pushed back to the middle of next decade. http://www.fbschedules.com/2016/08/south-alabama-tulane-move-future-football-series-2025-26/ This eliminates the issue of the three road OOC games in 2020. 2019: Georgia Tech @Army @Duke OPEN Do you really thi...

I hardly think the Big East has recovered from the Tulane black eye. The conference broke up and the surviving conference, while you may say it's "surging", it doesn't have the "Power" that the Big East had. So while the Big 12 searches for institutions that will add stability (...

We know that this AD made the decision to fire Coach Conroy before the AAC tournament. Considering the dynamic performance of the team in the AAC tournament, I wonder if the AD now regrets pulling the trigger so early? There are great benefits to the thoughtful, measured evaluation approach that we ...

Re: Congratulations Tulane University

This search is obviously being rushed. What Dr Fitts, Ms. Glazer and Mr Hertz need to do is clear: convince Mr. Dickson to delay his retirement until May of 2017. This will allow him to bring in a new football coach and acclimate him to the University. Then, next fall, they can find Mr. Dickson's su...

One thing Mr Dickson MUST do is give Coach Conroy a 4 year extension RIGHT NOW. We need to lock him up for our future, and we need to do it to stave off rumors that he's leaving. REcruiting depends on it.

One loss against a top 30 program and the Jackals come out of hiding. Just amazing. With a young program like ours, it was not unexpected to take a step back the year after enjoying our first post season in a decade. It takes some years to build a complete roster, where you can survive graduation and attrition. We're all disappointed with the outcome of the last 2 games. But I saw ...
