Their line play hasn't been good either.

Re: Tulane loses 34-27 to KSU
Appreciate the recognition. I’m lucky to talk to a lot of people close to the team including many members of the team and the staff as part of my work with FTW collective. WinWave picks fights with everyone on this board for no apparent reason. I reported what I had heard and shocker it was accurat...

Re: Tulane loses 34-27 to KSU
My observations of the KSU game: 1. Special teams were much better than week 1. 2. OL got beat bad in the 2nd half. Not a huge surprise but it needs to get better. I'm disappointed in their development under Roushar the last 2 years. I thought he was a great hire at the time. That opinion is not ag...

Re: Tulane loses 34-27 to KSU
We got sacked 4 times in the half. It’s an issue I’m confident our coaching staff will address.

Oklahoma Game Week Thread
This is a beatable OU squad. They struggled to beat a weak Houston team. Played a terrible Temple team before that. They open as a 14.5 point favorite.

Re: Tulane loses 34-27 to KSU
Really well written article here by Ken Trahan covering most of what we have discussed in this thread. He agrees 100% on poor officiating and a strange play call at the 1 yard line. Officials decide game in Tulane loss. https://crescentcitysports.com/two-turnovers-one-bad-call-cost-tulane-in-loss-t...

Re: Quarterback Competition?
For accuracy K. St. had 7 new starters on offense and 4 on defense. As to the OL that is a group where coaches don't rotate players. They usually play the whole game unless it's a blowout. KSU made adjustments at halftime and got after them. That was the difference.

Re: Tulane loses 34-27 to KSU
Tough loss. We looked good in the first half. In the second half KSU decided to stop playing soft D and started bringing pressure. Our Ol was exposed again. They can't handle it. Mensah also doesn't handle it well. A lot different when there's no pressure and wide open receivers. He holds the ball t...

Poor obsessed cowardlyphantom. He's wrong yet again. He so wants to be me but he can't handle my rejection. Facts: No loss here by me and the many others who said in spring practice that it was 2 man race. Same for the beginning of fall camp. Sumrall confirmed that in the second week of fall camp wh...

Re: 2024 Kansas St. Football Score Prediction Thread
Tulane 17
K. State 14
Look for more from Shaddie tomorrow. He's finally focused and can run inside, outside and catch the ball. Might see some designed roll outs in the passing game. We used them in every scrimmage.

Wishful thinking. He's gone once an SEC offer comes. And that is fine as we knew that when we made the hire. Just keep making good hires.
