Re: NIL impact on G5’s getting 5 star recruits.
That's the point I've been making. Very few will get big bucks. Most won't get anything. It helps to be talented and extremely good-looking! LSU's Olivia Dunne makes more NIL money than 99.9% of "student-athletes" in the country, male or female. She's a gymnast, and we generally don't con...

Re: Pratt for Heisman
He had his best year this year which includes his accuracy. Anyone would have had accuracy problems playing behind our OL his first two seasons. Also he didn't have the benefit of a redshirt season. He has been playing since the third game of his true freshman season. I loved Mike McKay as our QB b...

Re: Tulane WBB destroyed by Houston
You play to win the conference. We do judge by wins and losses. It's clear she needs to be gone and we can get more for less with a good hire. That's on the AD to get it done.

Meanwhile across Freret Street former Tulane assistant coach Kellie Kennedy having a tremendous year. She’d be a good fit should Lisa retire. https://loyolawolfpack.com/news/2023/1/28/womens-basketball-womens-basketball-continues-home-winning-streak-vs-mobile.aspx?fbclid=IwAR2amM2jmZssKyzucTEky0-Ma...

Re: OC Bye Bye
The fact is that in the spring game neither offense looked different than the other and certainly neither stood out from the other which is why I stand by the fact that the spring game was not the impetus for any later change. In the article Svoboda says the running game changed as the season progre...

Re: Brian Kelly
He also won 10 games his first year in the SEC, and had a pretty impressive record at ND. Clearly, at least for his first year, he outperformed expectations in Red Stick. Oh yea. He got #10 against Purdue who had most of their regulars not playing in that blowout. LSU always had enough talent to wi...

Re: OC Bye Bye
We have a great offense run by a good QB with a vast improvement at the WR and TE positions. I do not see that changing. The main concern is losing Tyjae. He is elite. He made others look better. Yes we have Johnson and Celestine and they'll do good but neither are the caliber of Tyjae. The other c...

Re: OC Bye Bye
Anyone doubting Willie Fritz at this point is a fool. Why was SN promoted while JS was still in the house? SN took Tulane to heights that have never been seen in modern times. I’m looking forward to more of the same on offense. Did JS ever get a job yet? He's the same guy that went 2-10 the year be...

Re: Spring Game Report 2022
Which supports the point that nothing was shown in the run game that day by one side that stood out from the other. Naghavi ended up doing a good job and he is a loss. After fall camp I predicted the 10 win regular season. Thanks for bringing this up. Once again you are arguing with yourself. Most ...

Re: OC Bye Bye
I don't see anything in that article tps referred to that says they ran TWO DIFFERENT OFFENSES in the spring game. But two DIFFERENT people CALLING the SAME plays, each with a different philosophy would give Fritz the info he needed. A play could turn out to be an incomplete pass, or a RB trip. Fri...

Re: OC Bye Bye
That's not what was being discussed. What was discussed was the claim of the spring game being where it originated from. It's a fan forum. We discuss those things. As to the offense it got good when Tyjae got healthy and got going around mid season. It will be interesting to see how it goes next sea...

Re: OC Bye Bye
This thing a out comparing the 2 offenses has been stated and confirmed and makes sense when you see where we are now. Some just refuse to believe it, for whatever reason. It's typical on this site and will eventually lead to drawn out insults. We're you at the spring game? If so did you see 2 diff...

Re: OC Bye Bye
As I've said before the spring game thing is made up. There weren't 2 different offenses run. Neither was impressive. Fritz complained about the process of the teams being drafted just days before. So practically no time to install a a different offense.
