Which means a win in the bowl game and we should finish the season ranked for the second year in a row.

Re: Tulane Going To Annapolis Military Bowl

https://twitter.com/Brett_McMurphy/status/1731447538253729844 Easy win!!! How can a 11-2 school be placed with a 6-6 school, disgraceful!!! I suspect not much of Greenwave Nation will go see them play a .500 School Read between the lines if the ACC was interested in us they would want to see a maxi...

Tbf, he could dominate this conference too and make triple the money he does now.
And probably an easier time here, as there's no JMU type competition in the AAC.

Re: CFP Poll Watch

Florida State seriously pissed off, and rightly so. Not only did they go undefeated in a P5 conference, they won two non-conference games against the SEC, one on the road and one at a neutral site. You'd never catch Alabama or Georgia scheduling a Penn State and an Ohio State on the road the same s...

Glenn III and Daniels were the only two bench players that played. Glenn played 13 minutes, and Daniels got 5 minutes in the second half, after my initial post at halftime.

Re: Willie Fritz official to Houston

As usual you are wrong, Coach Fritz applied for Houston's job 3 times in the past, then last year for the Georgia Tech job, he had deep roots in Texas and Georgia. Fritz does NOT have "deep roots in Georgia". What rock did you crawl out from under? The extent of his roots in GA are two se...

I bet Fordham fans weren't too happy. Tulane was 32-42 from the FT line, Fordham was 8-10. That's shocking.

Fordham has gone 11 deep on their roster, Tulane has played six. ONE person off the bench. This is ridiculous.

Re: New HC profile

Who cares about the search firm? That’s a check the box move. I have no idea why you guys get hung up on that. The search firm isn’t relevant. We hired a search firm with Fritz too, it doesn’t matter. The firm is just the school’s agent. So what do we have an AD for? That's HIS job. We don't need s...

Re: New HC profile

This isn’t like the AD hire for me. In this case every fan already knows the resumes and the interviews are irrelevant. If it’s not Sumrall someone somewhere screwed the pooch. Triple his salary and give him the job. He will immediately bring talent through the portal. Yes. But we hired a search fi...

Re: Willie Fritz official to Houston

All that is true, but for a coach like Sumrall, he can get triple the salary his salary, coach in a metro market and fertile recruiting area, a strong G5 NIL program, etc, plus a program that recently won the Cotton Bowl and still ranked in the AP poll. But is it worth it to him to have to start ov...

Re: Willie Fritz official to Houston

To be honest, I'm not sure we're as good a job as people might think. We're in a dying conference. We missed out on the past few realignment chances (not all due to our own ineptness - thanks, PAC12), and we still don't have major new facilities coming. Other than a money grab, what makes us think ...

You know why I think Fritz won't be as successful at Houston as he was here? Because Houston has a President and a major donor (Fertitta), who like to put their fingers in the pie too much.

Re: Willie Fritz to Houston

Here's my big concern as far as hiring a new coach. Assuming we don't get gutted by the portal, we should still have a good shot at finishing near the top of the conference next season. I could easily see a coach come here for one season, just because of the money, win with Fritz's players, then jum...

Re: Willie Fritz to Houston

My biggest concern if Fritz leaves is how many players does he take with him? I could easily see him taking Makhi Hughes and Chris Brazzell, maybe Corey Platt. No doubt that with current transfer rules, it guts your team and recruiting class. The only hope is that you get a few kids following your ...
