Re: Miss St beats Ole Miss before a packed house in Starkville
Happened to catch a clip of Bill Maher, talking about a recent poll. The question was, what percentage of people who get Covid end up hospitalized? Seems like the choices were: <5%, 5-19%, 20-49%, 50% or more. Over 40% of Democrats said it was 50% or more, and another 28% said it was 20-49%. The cor...

Re: WSU Series Thread
Wichita State's record is a bit misleading. The were 7-1 in conf coming into today, but all 8 games were against Houston. Odd quirk in the scheduling.

Re: USF Series Postponed -USF COVID Issues
The virus protocol is now a complete joke. “It was weird,” Jewett said. “Here we are, on the road, not our fault, and they (South Florida’s players) are all at the beach and we’re practicing on their field.” And in a situation like this, since the games can't be made up, USF should have to forfeit ...

Re: USF Series Postponed -USF COVID Issues
Do you READ your articles before you post them? Technically, ANYONE can get it twice. But in actuality its RARE for someone to get it twice. All your article says is that the % of people who had Covid that still have antibodies in their system is lower for people over 65. It doesn't say a word about...

Re: Dannen and Fritz to KU?
Yeah good point. Monken has Kansas on a list where his buyout would be waived if he was hired by them. Apparently Kansas is also bringing in a search firm to help with this hire as well, so this seems like it could drag on for another month and new names added. Fingers crossed WF puts a public end ...

Not that long ago? That was in JULY of LAST YEAR! Europe was six weeks ahead of the US, so it was in one of the downspikes. It has since raged on to not only a second wave, but a THIRD WAVE. ALL data shows that Florida open and without mandates has no higher incidence of deaths or hospitalizations p...

And California with 168 new deaths today. Still no indication that opening up Florida has increased the death rate, since California is still having more. And Texas, another state that's removed the mask mandate, has only 1799 new cases, and only 3 new deaths. Looks like you have no common sense co...

We should not go anywhere near a Florida , Texas , Michigan , Arizona or California resident . They are going to continue Covid with there " I will do what I want " attitude . USF series postponed Covid for USF And no time to make them up https://twitter.com/american_bsb/status/1380543527948480515?s=12 This is where you need to make a case for forfeiting. We lose four games against a team we could sweep, but someone like Wichita State gets to play them, and we get screwed.

As Dennis Green once said, you are what your record says we are. We had a comparable record, against comparable opposition. That pretty much says, we're about the same as they are. Now if you want to say Memphis is a bad team, that fine. But that also means you have to say Tulane is a bad team. I’v...

So explain, PRIOR to us having played them, what would show that? All that matters is Wins and Losses. We had the same record, against lesser opposition, or as you said, just regular good teams, instead of Ark, Vandy and Ole Miss. And, they only played a total of 4 games against them. By that metric...

Half the conference has an RPI of 100+, and Memphis isn't even one of them. http://www.warrennolan.com/baseball/2021/conference/American-Athletic The conference is pr...

Didn't realize the announcers on ESPN+ today are Ken Berthelot and Ron Swoboda. Haven't heard Berthelot in a long time. Brings back memories, although not all good ones.

The alleged grandma incident is anecdotal unless she and Coach O are under oath. If they had recorded his call, that would be a firing offense for lying. The rest of LSU's inaction is real, with receipts. Sounds like Guice is a serial predator and should be in prison and not on the streets. 🤔, actu...

Only two teams in the entire conference are more than one game above .500. And that's non-conf. Now that we're going to conf play, with no midweek non-conf games, that can't even get better. Sad year for the AAC all around.
