Re: Line Moves ⬆️ to Wave 5 pts. > Houston

I won't bet Tulane games, but if I did, I'd take the 5.5 points. Houston has played a tougher schedule to date than we have. I'm with you. Could just be my hesitation from years of being let down. I mean, if you look at the Massey composite ratings, we're #57 and Houston is #70, and the vast majori...

Mike Leach discussing a PAC-12 Mascot Fight

Dude is hilarious. Someone asked him who would win a fight among the PAC-12 Mascots.

Re: Line Moves ⬆️ to Wave 5 pts. > Houston

A couple of sites on vegasinsider now are now at Tulane -5.5

Also noticed the O/U started at 63 1/2 and its now down to 56. Wonder why that is?

Re: Tanner Lee

It would be very telling if the Saints don't call Tanner. Sean Peyton was the one that got him recruited by CJ. 6 pages to go!!! ROLL WAVE! D- IIRC it was Robert Neu who was the Saints QB coach that told CJ about him. I think it was tps that said that when he was being recruited. In the interest of...

Re: Houston Game

This is absolutely a big game for the program. They were picked above us in our Division. If things have really changed and we are going to have a special season it starts here. No sense in trying to downplay it. It's big. Absolutely it's big. There's a ton of buzz on Twitter this week. Lots of peo...

Dave, that was the other guy. If you were living here, you'd know the difference in the two. Also, they weren't really supposed to be homers. This was an ESPN3 broadcast, they have to at least make an attempt at being non-partisan.

I'd be tempted to take Houston +5. That way, I wont be disappointed one way or the other. Either I win the bet or Tulane wins the game. And I could end up with both.

No, LSU and Saints aren't customers. WWL buys FROM THEM. The end user (consumer) are the customers,

Re: Houston Score Prediction Thread

I really want to see our Wave come out and execute on offense like we did week 1, and for a good deal of the Missou State game. McM completes 8 of his first ten and we're off to the races. If we can execute our offense and not look like we did at Auburn here's the result: Tulane 41 Houston 27 And H...

If Tanner elects to stay in early retirement, got a call in to Aaron Brooks. After all he was the last QB not named Drew Brees to win a game as a Saint (2005). Is that possible?
Wow. That puts it all in perspective.

These guys don't really have a clue, do they? RWcoog Russell Wayne Sollock 20m I concerned about any team who likes to run the aball. Offense needs to start fast and make them play from behind. But seriously to the one who said this will be the best run defense we have faced. If you really believe t...

Some of yall have already chalked this up as a W. That being said, we like everybody else obviously have some inprovements to make. Just ...

I only want to see Southern, SLU, Nicholls and Grambling in Yulman when it comes to FCS opponents. We don’t need these games vs FCS opponents outside of Louisiana. I am fine with Jackson State as well. We only need to bring in FCS opponents who travel well and sell tickets. Some of the bands help a...

Not a lot of love for the Wave from FPI. We're only projected to beat Houston, UConn and Tulsa the rest of the way and finish 5-7.

I wonder if Bradwell and our Dline held back a bit. Dauphine needs 10+ touches a game. This is crazy keeping him to 3-5. Amare is the REAL deal. I also think Mcclesky will naturally become part of the pass game as time goes on. I’m glad we tried forcing it a bit. This wasn’t a real game. Did I ment...

Also, we only had 4 penalties for 40 yards, but it sure seemed like the officials were letting them play. I thought we could have gotten called for a block in the back several times.

I'd say we're in good hands going forward as far as RB depth goes. Cam Carroll and Ygenio Booker are both RS FR, and Spears is a true freshman. Its going to be a tough having to RS him, but they probably will. I think he played against FIU as well.

Thanks for whomever moved this thread. Tulsa has come back from a 17-0 deficit to take a 21-20 lead over Oklahoma State with about 2 minutes left in the first half. I'm convinced there's only about 15 or so P5 schools that are truly better than the G5s. The other 50 are only better by virtue of bran...

Re: Tip of the Visor to the Temple D

This is correct. However the turnovers, penalties and special teams were reminiscent of Tulane circa 2016 (or any year after Cairo). Temple should have won this game by 4 touchdowns. They are talented, but a dumpster fire. Hopefully they don’t get that figured out before they play us. Some highligh...
