Re: N'Western 10 game- Big 10 only in 2020

I wonder regarding a conference only schedule. Would any conference consider replacing their OOC games with the conf teams they weren't scheduled to play? For example, we'd be able to play a 10 game season instead of 7? I'm assuming if we go conf only we'd be cancelling the Army game as well.

Eh. I'd say it looks very average now. Whether you liked the checkerboards or alternating colors or not (I did), they were at least distinguishing in highlights, etc.
I agree with you, Steve.

Re: New turf

I like it. No other school have that blue on the field (or as a color). UNC is close, but this is a bit more electric blue looking than UNC's duller Carolina Blue. Only change I would have made is I would have made the lettering in the Endzone match the green of the Angry Wave. I also liked Graf's ...

Re: N'Western 10 game- Big 10 only in 2020

Sooner or later we're going to play a top FCS team and lose. There's not that much difference between the TRUE top FCS teams and the middle 40 in FBS. NDSU owns more wins against P5 schools and ranked schools this century than Tulane and at least half of the G5. I really wanted to see them play in ...

Maybe they would have given him hydroxychloroquine. Unless of course, he lived in a blue state where Dem governors banned doctors from prescribing it. They alone probably killed thousands because they couldn't stand to admit Trump was right. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/02/health/hydroxychloroquine-c...

Re: LSU VS Tulane Football Renewal of Rivalry

Great point on the MBB. Also that POS article compares the size of our stadium to Tiger stadium . . . But for some reason doesn’t include the size of the Superdome and the favorable terms. As others have said, I wish our AD waged more of a PR War (perhaps reframing would be a better term). Strongly...

Re: LSU VS Tulane Football Renewal of Rivalry

Win games. Period. We're not even close to .500 in CWF's tenure. Back to back bowl wins in BS bowls means NOTHING. It's almost like a participation trophy. Take the next step, then lets talk. But the next step is a big one that very, very few Tulane football teams have ever taken. We're approaching...

If we recklessly open the states, the 2nd wave will be worse than the first. We took steps and did a good job as a nation. Yes, certain areas that have little or no cases should get back to normal. Either way, this Tulane team will not be taking the field together again. It will be a different team next year, and more than likely we will be losing one of the best Friday starters in D1 baseball. Yes. It’s too bad the entire team won’t return though. This was a special bunch that knew how to win. In spite of the relaxed eligibility I don’t believe you’ll see Mathews, Artiques, Olthoff, and Johnson returning. Some others I didn’t mention as well. Players will still be required to pay additio...
