Re: “Tulane” Ave now on the list of name changes

The city couldn't pay the school enough money to change. The branding is too valuable. And they also can't force them to change. And if the school were to change it, I'd vote that we just drop the Tulane and go with the University of Louisiana, which we are. Then, we can brand all our teams Louisian...

Big Questions and conflicting data on the bragged about kicker we signed Kriston Esnard of Decatur, Ga. Great reviews from Kohl's Kicking Camps rated 5 Star!!! gbg, That article was from SEVEN MONTHS ago, when the virus had only been in the US for FOUR MONTHS. I specifically included the part where they said that's what they're hoping. The point being, its far from "inaccurate". Its more science than just riding bareback on whatever "Dr Fauci" decides to say this week. There's no data showing sizeable numbers of reinfections. Just because he "says so" doe...

Very telling. Validates the "grass isn't always greener" concept. Maybe a lot of G5 players need to read this article and look at these numbers before jumping into the portal. "Of the 964, nearly 60% (558) are uncommitted and still searching for a landing spot. The 964 players are split between thos...

We're scheduled to play both UCF and USF but they're not listed as Conference games, Is it just a mistake on the site, or are those two schools not playing a full schedule or something? Just checking to see if the coaches hit or missed on a player. Langham was only a two star recruit with a rating of .78 by 247 Sports. Stephon was also a two star recruit with a rating of .78. So neither was a high level recruit that we lost. Coaches coached both players up!!! You have an obsession...

It's a hell of a rivalry. We just haven't done our part. But there is no question the last team they ever want to lose to in anything is Tulane. If the person that started this thread is doing actual research as implied, I would like to see the results of the study. My guess is that the typical LSU...

Wah-Wah. Cry me a river. The easy majors are just that and they are here to stay. Those MSU and Tulsa players could pass them. Academics are not holding Tulane back. Lack of facilities is THE issue. Is academics “the” issue? No. However, it’s a “factor” in landing a class full of star recruits. Fac...

ECU is not a conference contender. The academic demands /standards have been greatly lessened with the many easy majors put in. Here's where you conflate things win. We've put in many sports-friendly majors. That doesn't mean their easy. They've added things like sports management, not basketweaving.

Touchdown to Interception Ratio is always a key stat for Quarterbacks. Great Quarterbacks very seldom throw interceptions. Shawn King was the perfect example going over 200 plus passes without a interception. Interceptions puts the defense in bad situations. 🤔Then maybe we should have gotten rid of...

The athletes jax is referring to would never have considered Tulane any way because they are going to the top P5 teams. Nothing to do with academics. all to do with athletics. So they'll have 31,000 in attendance in Arlington and 3,000 in NOLA. Queen LaToya in charge. Texas is drowning in Covid cases and if 31,000 attend it is likely that 600 to 800 will be Covid positive without knowing it ; and they will infect another 600 to 800 . So they infect another 800.
