Re: 2020 football recruiting

Remember, this is the 247 COMPOSITE ranking. Its possible most of the changes came because one or more services didn't have a player rated previously, and the rating came in higher or lower than the composite was. Sometimes the most likely reason is the correct one. Also, the main reason I made this...

Its interesting that it specifically says, "originally posted on gotula.net". So, you may not have done it, but it surely is YOUR report.

Re: 2020 football recruiting

Here's the best I could come up with. First number is rating when they committed, second is the current rating. Upgrades in bold green , downgrades in red . SDE Angelo Anderson 0.8839 .8851 OG Josh Remetich 0.8667 OT Joseph Solomon 0.8300 .8499 OLB Kendarrius Moore 0.8498 (.8466) OB Rashad Green 0.8...

Re: 2020 football recruiting

I agree. It's hard to imagine we will keep ALL of these kids, but it's obvious that Coach Fritz and his staff are selling something that is very appealing. I'm sure there's at least a few kids on here that we'll lose if a P5 offer comes along. Especially if its a better P5 program. We'll see. I did...

Re: Fall Camp Thread

It was essentially a closed scrimmage. They are closed for a reason, but they let some supporters in because they trust them. The next step is to not let ANYONE in. If they wanted it public, it would have been open. You can claim it's innocuous, and maybe it is, but the coaches are entitled to the ...

lol, winwave. I can't say I'm surprised. Even I felt there was a lot of information in the report that FIU could find interesting.

Re: Line Opens Tulane 3 pts. > FIU

Its a glass half empty-glass half full scenario. For all those pessimists who want to say we were one missed two point conversion from being 5-7 and staying home, the optimists will say we were one inch away from having gone to back to back bowls. So which is it? Its somewhere in between. We've rea...

Re: Justin Campbell denied Admission

Maybe its time we act like alums and fans of other schools do and start burning up the phone lines to the Dean of Admissions office, and start putting pressure on Fitts to step up and remove this guy from his position.

Re: Two Unanswered MBB Questions

We're still waiting for our OOC schedule . Just a bit hypocritical to solicit season ticket sales now while refusing to disclose what you are asking us to buy #new team . Is seeing the OOC schedule first really a determining factor on whether you'd buy season tickets or not? If you're supporting th...

Re: Justin Campbell denied Admission

All I will say is, I have it from very good sources that Campbell's transcripts didn't even arrive at Tulane until the very end of June. There is a deadline on when that transcript needed to be received.

Re: Justin Campbell denied Admission

Let's all take a step back here, unless there's something more that I'm not seeing. When you apply for admission to school, you're told yes or no. BUT (BIG BUT HERE), if I remember correctly doesn't that approval come BEFORE the student has actually finished all his classes? So is it POSSIBLE that h...

Re: 2020 football recruiting

I just have to keep pinching myself about how this 2020 class is shaping up. Serious momentum is building—a strong 2019 season, and this program is going to take off like a rocket. For sure. The only way we lose alot of these commits is if we stink it up this year. We MUST win. Exactly. By the time...

Re: PAC 12 morning Kick Offs

I read an article about this awhile back, and some of the comments were interesting. They showed how clueless people who live on the West Coast are. Many of the fans were complaining that kickoffs are at 7pm PT. They would prefer 5pm, because they said 7pm means you get home from games approaching m...

I know it'll drop some as other schools start to fill out their commits, but currently we're the #48 recruiting class in the country and #3 in the AAC.

Re: Tulane vs LSU series home & home may be back

Shrine on airline, btw, is an absolute public investment mess. Should never have been built. Should have gone on the MS waterfront west of the convention center. No vision. I disagree. Baseball is supported by families, mostly from the suburbs. That's why attendance increased from 1500/gm to 9K/gm ...

Thing to do would be a weekend series before conference play. Rotate each year.
Could also do a Fri-Sat at one school and Sun at the other, then reverse it the next season. That would be easy enough, and both schools get a game every year.
