Is defiantly Todd Manchini (Our Current One). His excitement after a good play is priceless. Sometimes he is so excited I cant understand what he is saying. He has a true love for college football.

Totally agree, although Wayne was the color announcer for Bruce Miller. When Wayne was added on to the radiocasts of the Tulane games in the early 1970's, the game commentary was classic for each game. Bruce became Wayne's straight man. Wayne Mack really had fun with the game broadcasts, and his sense of humor was the best.

I wish that there was another Wayne Mack out there who could step into the booth now and liven it up (i.e., make it fun).

Hate to say it but Graff isn't in my top 5. We have had PROFESSIONALS in the past. You just have to be OLD to remember any of them.

Yeah, Bruce was the main pbp guy. Great combo for Tulane.

My two in football were the combo of Wayne Mack and Bruce Miller, Don Crockett in basketball and the combo of Todd Graff and Sean Kelly in baseball.
Ken Berthelot and Jeff Cummings were also good in basketball.
Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..

Ladies and gents duck is a troll. No one has been banned but he should be as it is clear he will eventually post a link that causes a virus.
Tulane didn't have a stadium issue it had a program and facilities issues. To the new President- we want a new AD , a football facility and an IPF. We want top 25 programs in football and basketball the only two sports that count.

does anyone remember John Ferguson who called the LSU games for years?
I remember that LSU cancelled the WWL radio contract and he stayed with WWL and called the Tulane games for one year.
He was deliberate and exacting , but spoke in a montone with no emotion

Sean Kelly by a mile.
Best homer announcer is Bruce Miller by a mile.

I wish Graff would ease up on the teen-age catch phrases and call the game.

I am no troll, my autocorrect changed it from graffanini to Mancini. Roberto Mancini is the coach for Manchester city soccer club.

Bruce "Oh, brother" Miller. Those of you who are old enough will understand the "Oh, brother" part. And the fact that he also went by the name of "Bronco Bruce."

I like Graff....like his enthusiasm.....like his home team "bias."
That's the way it should be.

based on the "total package"...which includes advertising sales and the amount of station's in the Tulane Broadcast family as well as geographic territority covered by those stations (excluding the WWL signal)...Ken Berthelot
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Graff is way better than Sean Kelley for baseball, which is the sport I listen to most often seeing as there are so many more games.
Not at all surprised to see no mentions of Larry Matson.

I like Graff, but Sean Kelly PBP and Graff color in baseball during the World Seris days was the better than Graff solo. Graff can't rate yet on basketball or football because he hasn't called enough of those yet. Steve Barrios and Jimmy O offer nice insight from a players point of view in football. And I agree with TURVS, there's nothing wrong with being a "homer", it isn't like it's a ESPN broadcast.
