I chuckled and thought of you when I heard on the radio that the Saints have signed JT Barrett!

Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good. He might not have been drafted at all without the Price connecton.

With training camp getting started, the 100 page mark is a possibility.

Wonder if he'll get to play his first game next Thursday against the Saints?

A lot of people hate pre-season, and I can definitely agree that the teams hold season ticket holders hostage by making them buy pre-season tickets. But the fun part is when all the players fighting for a roster spot play, especially if you know a few on either side of the ball. It's not about who wins or loses (from a fans perspective, as we know the games are meaningless, unless you're Rex Ryan) but about who shows they can play. Ryan Griffin has stuck around due to his play in pre-season.

This gives me a reason to watch, or dvr this game!

Jags already soured on Lee, looking for another backup.

Tell us more, or give us a link to this story. Contracts in the NFL are not guaranteed.

I did a google search during lunch and couldn't find anything remotely supporting that assertion. That being said, you are in Jacksonville, I'm in CT. Please, tell us more, with sources!

Practice squad would net him the $141k guaranteed. Then again, so would not making the team.

I hope he makes it, gets his chance to play and shines. But NFL defenders are a whole lot better as a group than any he's faced.

From Jags beat writer:
“I hate to continue to diminish the play of a guy who is in his first NFL camp, but Tanner Lee may be as bad a pick in the draft as they’ve ever had. I wish him the best, but the Jaguars really should’ve brought in stiffer competition for Kessler because Lee isn’t it.”

AHHHH...the good ole days of the NFL... 6 "exhibition' games, not "4 PreSeason" when the first 4 where played in cities that did not have an NFL team, now any city with a pulse, or on life support, has a franchise and one of the last two two were played at home
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

He played 1 series and was sacked twice. Looked like a deer in the headlights. Somewhere JJ is grinding his teeth about the Jacksonville O-line.

The series I saw, 3 or 4 incompletions (all bad passes) and he fumbled.
