Angry Wave 42 - SMU 38. Wave rushes for 350 yards through the SMU porous defense and throws for another 200. Nickerson and Lewis, including Shenall on passing situations continue to outperform. Hopefully we get a pass rush.

I'm buying. SMU is not the team everyone thought. Tulane is trending up and feeling confident. I look for a monster day from Hilliard and limited opportunities for SMUs passing game. Fritz's MO will payoff Saturday

I'm beginning to believe that something has changed. We just won two games, either of which we could easily have lost in the last few minutes of the game. I think we want this game more than SMU.

Go up 14 in the first half, win by 3.

Nice to finally get some division wins! 3/5 with a close one to Navy makes a decent season!

We think we have attendance problems, you should hear them- they are imploding on the SMU boards. It will feel like a neutral field- 24-17 Wave Rolls to a Bowl

I’m not buying until they show me. Every time we get to a game we need to win we’ve laid an egg. Saturday no different unless otherwise.

It's time for the Green Wave to pissed Angry Wave off and remind us that we are still Tulane. As much as I want to be wrong and pray that I am, I see us dropping another egg.

I was so confident after I thought we turned a corner earlier in the year vs Tulsa. However, I am very worried about our kids flopping. I think we can pull this one off. Fritz knows his streak of turning programs around in year 2 is on the clock. A Bowl Game at Tulane in year 2 will be a big deal for him. Unlike CJ, Fritz won't fall from the tree.

I hope we win, 17-14 Tulane and no one starts any nonsense about Fritz going to Kansas or any other team! Maybe he can turn this
program around. Maybe not! But clearly, he has not quite demonstrated that he is gods gift to the coaching profession.

Baby Isla is one happy baby. Rae Juan and the Wave want to keep it that way. Then there's that 11 AM kick-off, the Wave practices before sunrise and loves those early starts. Throw in the Bowl Game motivation and it's:

Our offensive philosophy and the fact that we have a decent defense keep the score down somewhat.

The last time the Wave entered the final game of the regular season needing a win to be bowl eligible, it didn't end well. This matchup is a tad more even.

SMU 38 Tulane 24. We stink on the road and Tulane always lays an egg just when we think we've turned the corner. Hope I'm wrong.

I think the talk of SMU not being as good as they've been hyped to be is wrong. They've lost their last three but the only blowout was at Memphis. They played a very competitive game versus UCF and lost by 3 at Navy. They can and do score points every week.

We will need a big defensive effort to win this game and I think we will get it. A few more stops by our defense than theirs against us should do the trick.
