I look at your post and remember how TERRIBLE the play calling was at the end of the half and the end of the game against Tulsa. Run the ball in that situation and make Tulsa burn timeouts. Center the ball in the middle of the field for the clinching chip shot FG. (I called CJ on his radio show and asked him about that and he claimed he didn't know that the hash marks were much wider in college than the NFL and that it's a much tougher kick from the hash marks in close. That was his SECOND season for crying out loud!) The end of the first half we messed up badly as well. That was one of Tanners best games, and CJ let it slip away.
I was thinking about this earlier: For those of you that still think he's a high draft pick, does he really throw the ball any better than Ramsey, King or Losman? Competition aside, he throws a nice ball, and the bomb he threw earlier in the Purdue game was, IMHO his prettiest throw of the game. But all he brings is that arm. And I think it's good, but no better than the three I mentioned above, all of whom had pedestrian NFL careers.
