I've gone back and forth on this one more than any other game in a good while. Cincy is bad and we should win. Not only should be win but hopefully it would be by a good bit. They have a capable QB when he's on and he certainly could take advantage of our issues in coverage. Then again at times he can be a turnover machine and we have been good at getting those. On our end our first practice this week didn't go well with some team leaders calling out players for their lack of effort. I think it was R320 that said he was glad players were being held accountable . That's one take. Another take is that it's not a good sign when players have to be called out for effort. Especially when you look at some things taking place recently such as our poor tackling. It's late in the season and we had an early bye week. As for Cincy they are coming off their bye week and will be rested up and healed up.

So many things pointing to a Tulane win. How many of y'all have seen this movie?

This is a toughie. As winwave posted there's a whole lot going on right now that would be cleaned up with a solid win. But at the same time, we have, as Galvezwave points out, seen this movie before. This is really two bad teams. We seem to play well against the bad teams, and play bad against the good teams (USF we played lousy for 3 quarters and the score was less indicative of the play). I could easily see us providing another Homecoming debacle. But I think Willie gets the boys to put it together in front of a Homecoming crowd. I'll be watching from Orlando, where, unreasonably, there's a father-daughter event at UCF when the Knights are on the road! But I will tune in and hope for a win.

Banks and Hilliard shred the Cincy defense. This one won't be close folks.

I agree only not so much. Tulane over Cincy 28-17.

As a nervous afterthought, this will be an insufferable loss if Tulane lays an egg on Saturday.

Not easy, but we get it done.

I'm losing confidence in this staff. Their run first/refusal to build a formidable passing attack will be their downfall.

Told y’all homecoming tradition. Tulane would lose to UNO if they had a D1 team.
