Wondered the same thing. You would think that those things would've been delivered by the time football season began.

There are two holes drilled through the styrofoam above the man standing in the photo. Will these holes provide access for the water feature? Maybe directing water out along the crests?

Not sure. I think it would make sense to pour out of the megaphone.

That initial coating over styrofoam must be some seriously strong two part resin if that structure is going to be kept outside? It is remarkable what can be done with the material for a coffee cup. There are large buildings that are nothing more than steel-framed boxes w/ styrofoam for the detail of the facade.

This needs to be installed over the summer when the campus is basically empty and can be done while the west side upper deck is being added

I know it's not a big deal overall but I don't like what this suggests about TD. Announced this thing pre-season, then pushed it back to homecoming, now pushing it back til next season. He hyped it up a lot. Again not a big deal but worried about him following in the footsteps of previous AD. If you announce deadlines, stick to em.

Might have been too ambitious to have it done by homecoming because you need a crane to lift it in place, have to hook up the plumbing for the water feature and electrical assuming it will light up.

Is the styrofoam Angry Wave water feature up and secured yet ? How will it survive high winds ?

No it's not up at this time. Last word I heard was that it was actually pretty heavy and needed a steel structure built first to support it. Apparently it's more involved then what was first thought. And the water feature is supposed to mist students after a score. Not sure how all that is going to work out.

I saw those posts after I posted here. It really doesn't go in the travel to Spain thread, and unless someone actually clicks on the link, they have no idea its about the basketball court. That's why I didn't delete my post.

Too big and the "Devlin Fieldhouse" verbiage is misplaced. IMO
I'd would have just replaced the T-Wave with the same size AW here leave the rest alone. Don't like the painted lanes or baselines either. I prefer the natural wood look.
