Being one of the largest Universities in the nation, UCF has some pretty deep pockets that make it difficult for a small, private University to compete with. They have a publicly stated goal of being a top 25 athletics department. Have we ever publicly stated such ambitions? I know Dickson said he felt everything was in place for our teams to compete for conference championships. But as most of us know, Dickson indicated he wasn't telling the truth whenever his lips were moving.
