Ouch! He's already burned a redshirt year. Medical redshirt perhaps?

This is a huge loss for our line. Diaz has been the rock at center. His injury must have been a very bad high ankle something if he's done for the season. As for a medical redshirt, he might actually get it. The NCAA is very very very stringent when it comes to medical redshirt for seniors in that they have to have played less than 30% of that season. Since he didn't play in the 4th game, that puts him under the 30% threshold so he could probably get one.

I think he's only a Junior, but I'm not sure.

Huge loss as Diaz was the main man on the line, calling out blocking assignments, and graded out the highest on the O-Line (which isn't saying a lot, but he was our best). I think he's a very very good player. I also thought he was a Junior. Hope he gets a medical RS.

I hope you are right. He's a good player at a position of need.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the young man.
