Nice footwork and touch. He's an inch or two short, but shows a lot of promise. Given that he's a big, very interesting to see Dunleavy redshirting given our shortage of bodies in the front court for this season. That's Jones, Cornish and the transfer from Vandy all redshirting this year.

Good bloodline there. His brother is a heck of a player.

I think these redshirts show the MD is more interested in building something long term than he is with a quick fix. Also indicates someone that plans on being here awhile. Let's see what happens.

The official announcement of Jackson Johnson to Men's basketball, along with Bernard Woodside. Two more guards. Both eligible this year.

When Woodside came out of HS to Georgia Tech a couple years ago he was rated 2 stars, 60 overall by ESPN.

It was a safe bet that Jackson Johnson make the team.

Now we just need big men in the worst way possible. As of now, the only big guy with a Tulane scholarship offer appears to be Kamaka Hepa, who FWIW will look fantastic in green and white.

We will probably go the 2017 transfer route (eligible in 2017 / 2018).

A bunch of 2* big men in 2019 appear to have Tulane Offers / Interest - Imajae Dodd (6-7); Kyran Rawson (6-10); Isiah Mobley (6-8); Karim Coulibaly (6-8)

I don't understand why this team keeps adding more guards. Who is going to play inside? The current roster lists 9 guards, 4 forwards and 1 center. What team needs 9 guards? They had better be DAMNED good shooting 3's because the inside scoring will be sparse.

I think you are going by the roster on the official site. It is wrong. Reynolds and Frazier are small forwards. so 7 guards, 6 forwards and 1 center. However, we are still short in the frontcourt as two of them aren't going to play this year. One has to sit out and MD said he was going to redshirt Jones.
