Says he's been offered a job on the Southern Miss coaching staff.

He had a really nice season in 04, would have been nice to see him with no Katrina in 05.
He was 11th in the nation in passing efficiency, threw 21 TDs and 9 INts in 04.

Pretty fine looking bride there. Love that he got married at Yulman. I love his passion for Tulane, and really want to see him involved in the program. If there is room for him on Fritz' staff, I'd be thrilled.

Faith, football fortunes led Lester Ricard to Walker High

http://crescentcitysports.com/faith-foo ... lker-high/

Walker has a senior DB apparently worth a look and Ricard was the secondary coach at first at Hahnville. Maybe this will be the start of a pipeline from up river.

Lester was QB coach and OC at Hahnville, he didn't coach defense.

My bad. I knew he was last their OC but read an article that he started out coaching DBs. Looks like that lasted a very short amount of time.

He was in a tough spot, he liked to spread it out and Salt wants to run, run, run. They had some heated exchanges at times during games, hope Lester is very successful in his new gig.

Congrats to Lester. I hope he has a few state titles at Scotlandville. He'll want to run the spread there and put plenty of points on the board.

What a run of QB's Tulane had starting with Shaun King, followed by JP Losman, Patrick Ramsey and Lester. Wow. We could use a QB of that caliber in a big, big way!

Did Lester Ricard take a meaningful snap at LSU? I'm asking because I really don't know, I know he transferred out of LSU, but don't know that he ever played a down for LSU, and wonder why the media mentions him as a former LSU QB?

Because search engines crawl sites. And "LSU" gets picked up because it hits better for SEO. And those sites that mention LSU get ranked higher, and the articles that they publish about LSU get picked up and pushed in front of more eyeballs. And more eyeballs means more advertising. LSU. And more advertising means more clicks. LSU. And that means more revenue. So, yeah, LSU.

See what I did there?
