And not because of the actual accomplishment, but because there will be easy justification for retaining a loyalist. It has nothing to do with actual results.

Ed Conroy will remain the coach as long as the Cowen/Dickson power structure is in place and Conroy doesn't have a complete program meltdown, Toledo style. We already know that Conroy can survive a mass exodus of his best players and being <200 RPI for 4 out of 5 years. It has nothing to do with wins and losses.

Email President Fitts and Rick Dickson and give them your concerns about Conroy and his performance over five years. Usually they will not return your email if you do not donate over $100,000 unlike Chet Gladchuk or Kevin White that would take a season ticket holder and minor donor out to lunch a couple of times a year and also sit by you for a while at Tulane athletic events to make small talk. Rick Dickson is pathetic.

Well he was awarded a 3 year contract extension just a year ago, so not much evidence that wins and losses are relevant.

3 straight coaches unable to succeed here. In football 3 straight coaches unable to succeed here. This is 100% Tulane, the administration, the Athletic Department leadership. This University doesn't want to win and if they do want to win they don't know how.

If I was hired as either AD or Head Football Coach... I would address the Admin and Faculty... "The main reason Tulane has be unsuccessful in Athletics....is YOU"... You do not have to worry about Athletic Dept "EGO's" ... the Faculty and Admin has that "trip" all wrapped up ....

Major article in the New Orleans Advocate this morning Tuesday that Rick Dickson is retaining the loser Conroy. Only way to approach this is to email President Fitts and Board Chairman Darryl Berger and tell them how you feel about Conroy and Dickson. He has a 26-56 record in conference play overall. Never got us to the NCAA or lowly NIT in five years. 1-8 home record in conference play this year. All a disaster! Conroy is another Toledo,Dickerson or Finney Rick Dickson hire. Alleged idiot Dickson like to Toledo gave Conroy a thee year contract extension last year. Also email Aresco with the AAC and tell him how this loser is killing the reputation,RPI and attendance of the AAC.
