Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Welcome Mr. Hogan! He hails from Brandon, MS, which is about 10 minutes outside of Jackson, MS. He's 6'5" at 275 lbs. He plays both Tight End and Defensive End, but will more than likely be focusing on Offense as a lineman.

Here's his HUDL; http://www.hudl.com/profile/7453144/nik-hogan
(My initial impression is that he has good quickness off the ball and can definitely be developed into a zone scheme blocking lineman like Fritz needs. With his size and frame, I could see him transitioning to being a tackle.)

He's listed as a 3* on 24/7 http://247sports.com/Player/Nik-Hogan-87728

He's listed as a 3* on Rivals https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/ ... ogan-70092

He's listed as a 3* on Scout http://www.scout.com/Player/Nik-Hogan-87728

He's listed as a 3* on ESPN http://www.espn.com/college-sports/foot ... /nik-hogan

Pretty safe to say he's an overall 3* recruit.

He has offers from MS State, ULL, Tulane

He has great potential and upside. Things are looking great for the Angry Waves 18' class. ROLL DAMN WAVE!

Beating out Kentucky and MS State is impressive.

So far, this class is looking much better than the 2017 class, but we need these guys to hang on through signing day so that the class won't collapse and Fritz is forced to sign a bunch of 2* players.

The film in the nola.com article clearly shows him playing left tackle.
