Jewett can't specifically comment on Stevens or any recruit until he signs (fall of 2017?) but he can do stuff like Fritz does by saying "Roll Wave out of River Ridge, LA" or something like that to "acknowledge" the commitment.

He didn't attend Curtis last year. He is a transfer from Northlake Christian. Logan is an elite prospect and was even offered a spot to transfer to IMG Academy in Florida. He will be a junior.

He was a sophomore last year will be a junior this coming year. He is a 2018 commit

Glad to see Jewett is attempting to recruit locally. Thanks for heads-up.

Also after watching every new player in majors looking like Aaron Judge, it's nice to "average size" baseball players succeeding and getting attention.

Huge pickup for 2018 !! According to pbr we currently have 2 of the top 10 players in Louisianna committed for 2018.....and counting. Don't know how good PBR is though at ranking.

Jewett is going to have to get on his horse because we lose a bunch of players after this year and the last staff left us with no guys committed in 2017 and now it's too late for the 2017 and is almost too late for the 2018 class too for the top guys. Jewett is Playing catch up.

What sucks is after if this year, we lose everyone and we really don't have a whole lot of players coming In for 2017, I think I count like 5 or 6 on perfect game.

9 of the 12 early signees from last Nov are now in school and playing Fall Ball. There are others some FR a few transfers that are on the roster from summer pickups don't know a lot about them.
