Yes he can play next year and he has three years of eligibility left.
He's probably more talented than anyone on the roster. Do we have a true 4 star PG?mbawavefan12 wrote:Ya, so no dice. Hell we have three PGs on the roster. He's got offers from six ACC schools (not Duke or NC), plus Ohio State, Butler and Dayton among 18 offers.
Juco and transfer bigs, maybe a Sf, that's about it.

let's go to the video and see what we have on Mr Lee....terrible feet and limited vision....time to prepare to work in the pre owned car bizGreenLantern wrote:What does Dunleavy think of Tanner Lee? With his vision, size and speed he could be a great grad transfer. That, of course, if he decides not to run track or try professional golf.

Please, the Tulane bubble is plenty safe. Santa Clara/San Jose is no walk in the park. The WCC is a joke compared to the AAC.Robert1969 wrote:This is one area where New Orleans may have been a detriment. Coming from a very low crime country like Canada to the one of the cities with the highest murder rates in a country with one of the highest murder rates in the Western world, may have made Santa Clara seem like a better choice.lurker123 wrote:You didn't mention Silicon Valley, California weather or if the kid wanted to go to a Jesuit school. I'm simply asking and reciting what Santa Clara has and Tulane doesn't. (No it's not facilities. Leavey Center only seats 4500. It's a tie there and Hertz is definitely better for practice.)uptownprof wrote:Bit of a bummer when you end up as the bridesmaid ...

He committed to Santa Clara.
Dont understand the decision - clearly academics mattered to the kid - Academics, Dunleavy, New Orleans, Decent basketball conference to compete in ... we checked all boxes.
But an outsider knows nothing about the "Tulane Bubble." At the same time, violent crimes have taken place very close to campus. But that's true with most college campuses as well.mbawavefan12 wrote: Please, the Tulane bubble is plenty safe. Santa Clara/San Jose is no walk in the park. The WCC is a joke compared to the AAC.
Um, that is precisely the point of the recruiting process.DfromCT wrote:But an outsider knows nothing about the "Tulane Bubble." Who knows what drives an 18 year old's decision making?
Would be a great 3.GreenLantern wrote:What does Dunleavy think of Tanner Lee? With his vision, size and speed he could be a great grad transfer. That, of course, if he decides not to run track or try professional golf.

DeJon Jarreau was 63rd on ESPN 100 and Gresham was 3 star. I hope Dunleavy at least makes a call.
