has de-committed from Michigan, as we have all read.

As a 4**** Lineman can we expect our coaches to recruit him given their knowledge of the state of Georgia prospects ? Presume Mr Solomon meets our academic standards and he would be a great get any way we slice it.

Would it have killed you to provide a link (or, hell, just a complete name) so we could tell WTF you are talking about?

Anyway, here you go: http://www.espn.com/college-sports/recr ... ent-attend

Of course Tulane should at least contact and offer him, but it seems extraordinarily unlikely that we would be able to even come close to getting him. Honestly, our time may be better spent pursuing more 3* players since they are more likely to sign with Tulane than a consensus 4* player and since we currently have so few 3*s in our 2017 class.

With an attitude like that we would never upgrade ourselves. Totally negative and totally Dicksonian as opposed to Dannenite.

While we are not as highly rated academically as UM I am sure Mr Solomon will thrive at and for Tulane,

Make it happen, coaches !

MAKE NO LITTLE PLANS. We are stuck with concrete little plans from Cow/Dick and with your line of rationalizing.

Haha. Tulane has a finite amount of recruiters and a finite amount of financial resources dedicated to recruiting, and, as such, those limited resources should be used in a manner that maximizes their utility. Pursuing consensus 4* players beyond occasional contact, visit/camp invitations, and an offer will not maximize the value of those resources, especially if those players do not show initial interest in Tulane. There are a wide range of reasons why that is the case, and it's really unnecessary to go into them.

I think there's a very good chance he still ends up at Michigan. He said a lot of good things about Michigan in the part of his letter that the press is not really putting out there.
