I've been reading that the Tigers were going to waive Bobby Wilson to clear the way for Jake Rogers to make his MLB debut. He's not hitting a lot, but has thrown out 15 of 32 (dumbass) base-stealers!

If Jake can hang with the big club for three weeks, Detroit will be visiting Houston on Aug 19-22, if some of our Houston alum might want to attend.

0-1 was pitched away the entire AB.
8 pitch AB went to 3-2 count and lined out sharply to CF

He also made his first error (he was unable to handle a popup in front of the plate by Luis Rengifo in the 6th two batters later, Rengifo scored) but here’s a video of his first RBI and hit:
