Just got word the RJ tree just sprouted another branch Billy Mohl hired as new USF HC!
Another Tulane grad a D1 baseball HC.

Well if we can't win anymore I guess there is some solace in the fact that our past program bred a plethora of Head Coaching Careers at Major Levels.

Really glad for him. His family has been through a lot and on a personal note, he was a mentor to my son when he coached here. Great guy and confident he will be a great coach.

Billy is a class guy. He worked with my son at one of the camps and my son was so
impressed with Billy, he asked RJ if could take the camp photo with Billy instead of Coach Jones. Coach Jones was very gracious and fully supported it. My son still has that photo.

Thanks for sharing that. He truly is a class act. Always has been. Hated to see him have to suffer the loss of his wife at such a young age. He's persevered and deserves good things in life.

I think that Troy Dannen has been a great improvement over the previous guy and generally support most of what he has done; however, it really was a shame that he was so determined to throw out the good with the bad when he got here to "change the culture". The Rick Jones tree is real and it has been very successful in multiple places.
