What about the offsides penalties
What about the blown holding calls
What about the bad interference call on us in the 4th qtr
What about Powell's int

C'mon man. We win as a team and lose as a team. If ou use that mentality then Cairo won 2 games for us.

We came out flat and then dominated or 2 1/2 qtrs

Thanks for the update. Happy for Cairo. I know he'll get a shot at the next level and I hope it works out well for him. If he's not drafted I'm sure the Saints will be giving him a shot.

Wouldn't surprise me if Santos was the Saints starting kicker next season.

Lol. Me either. That missed field goal in the NOLA was not a great sale. I know Santos has been great, but he missed that thing on the main event of the ESPN evening. If he would have made it, I believe we would have one in OT.

It is a very cool vid!

I hope he makes the team. He's a fine young man that was absolutely clutch for Tulane.

Damn. Ryan Succup, the incumbent kicker, just hit a 54 yard FG right down the middle. I was hoping they let Cairo try that one!

Going to be tough for Cairo with that guy. Too bad the Saints missed on him.

It's very hard to crack the NFL Kicker country club. They recycle the same guys and if all things are equal, stick with the guy with NFL experience. I hope Cairo lands a job either in KC or somewhere. I, too, thought the Saints would be a perfect place for him. He could have a long career in the Dome.

Also, I feel that our kicking game might suffer with the new stadium. Kickers liked to come to Tulane where kicking in the Dome gave them perfect conditions. No real wind, rain or other elements. All you needed was a good snapper and holder (as we see that's not always a given, and a bad snap lead to ending Cairo's 25 or 26 consecutive FG streak.) We'll see how that plays out. We've been blessed with a bunch of good kickers...going back to Eddie Murray when we were first indoors.

All things being equal they may go with Cairo in this case because Succop is due much more money next year.

That would be good for Cairo. But Andy Reid is an old-time coach and would probably be more comfortable with a guy that's a known NFL kicker. Most of us know that, given a good snap and hold, Cairo is a money kicker. Line up and take it to the bank. If he gets cut, I hope he lands with the Saints.

Cairo off to a very tough start, unfortunately finding himself on the kickers hot seat.

Good job Andy Reid supporting your kicker. If you listen to NFL Radio, both the announcers and KC fans are ready to run Cairo off. Few know that he won the Groza award, made 26 in a row, and had his streak ended by a lousy snap a few days after flying directly to Syracuse from his father's funeral in Latin America. GO CAIRO!
