Yes. And let's just say that the Cannizaro family could learn something from Ms Burke about how to handle the disappointment of being passed over for a job.DfromCT wrote:If she's leaving, I wish her the best. Apparently, the Southland Conference.OUG wrote:I wonder what conference connections our next hire should have?
This is an opportunity.
The guy did spent 10 years as an assistant commissioner for the SunBelt Conference, so he would know the ins and outs of a conference and be familiar with the administrative side of things. A former AD as well, so he has experience just like Barbara had. How much higher on the pecking order is Eastern Illinois than Nicholls State?DrBox wrote:Apparently, the Southland Conference.OUG wrote:I wonder what conference connections our next hire should have?

This one's a head-scratcher. http://sportsnola.com/sources-outgoing- ... ane-staff/

I didn't know Eastern Illinois played football. Northern Illinois was very good a year or two ago.DrBox wrote: And E Illinois at least had a good football team. Nichols is good in nothing, ever. Now I know that they have no money. Still.....
Sean Payton and Tony Romo both took snaps there. So did the guy who'll open the season at QB for the New England Patriots.DfromCT wrote: I didn't know Eastern Illinois played football.
