I don't wish ill on anyone but if this is to happen before September, he needs some "key injuries" on the ML roster to open a spot for him immediately. At same time he needs to stay hot.

I remember when Rob was drafted by the Yankees I thought he should have stayed at Tulane another year and get drafted by another organization where he had a better chance of moving up,but I also understood he was a New Yorker and they were his dream team. He had no chance to make it to the bigs with Rodrigues in front of him (same as Cannizaro behind Jeter)
He spent 6 years in the Yankee organization before he became a free agent and signed with the Dodgers. In today's game he is " long in the tooth"
Hopefully he can get a break He is a great guy

Randy Leblanc was moved to high A as reported by another poster but Hometown is still showing him at Cedar Rapids
Aaron Loupe has finished his rehab assignment and is back up with Toranto. The Blue Jays must like Tulane pitchers. Mike Romano stayed in the Toranto organization forever
Now that Aaron is back up in the majors he raises our totally ex players in the Majors to ONE LSU 9
Southern, UNO, ULL, McNeese each have 1
SLU has 2
Hopefully this years draft will change the trend
Rob Segedin average has dropped to .308
Remember Rob is in town on the 17th

Frank Wills also pitched for Toronto for several years.

I noticed the last 2 outings for Gibaut, Charlotte used him for 3 innings instead of the usual 1.
I wonder if they are trying to see if they can switch him to middle relief.
They have a guy from Vandy who appears to be their closer with a better WHIP and ERA.

Here's another Toranto-Tulane connection
Mark "Goose" Gozzo pitched for Toranto
His two sons are incoming freshmen at Tulane next year
One is a catcher one is a shortstop

Coincidence ???
