Here's NOLA.com's story on the passing of Dickie Brennan. Interesting note on how he was recruited by Adolph Rupp at Kentucky.

Although I never worked for the Brennan's, having worked through Tulane in restaurants, the Brennan family was always well respected. As Patriarch, Dick Brennan influenced a whole lot of culture in New Orleans, spawning many careers of other great restauranteurs. Mr. B's Bistro is my favorite Brennan location, but the original is tough to beat, too.

RIP Dickie B.
