I recently went to a Christmas party and was talking to a guy that works in contruction for handicap individuals. His company does everything from home to auto adaption for the handicap. He told me they just delivered a handicap van to Devon's family and it was 100% paid for by the NCAA ($93,000).

Thanks Steve. That was the best story I've read in a long time. Brought tears to my eyes.

TU needs to name some aspect of Yulman Stadium in honor of Devon. The above is just a suggestion. Perhaps a concourse, fan entrance or players entrance. Something like that. Get on it Dickson!!

Fox 8 at 10pm tonight (Garland Gillen) is going to do a excusive special on Devon and the $300K addition to his house that is being built to help ease the care for him.
"Devon's Den". The equipment and technology required for Devon’s Den includes a ceiling-lift track system, which allows for safe mobility throughout the room. Other amenities include a gas generator, specialized toilet and shower, and equipment designed to provide a safe environment for Walker, his family and caretakers. To date, Walker’s injuries require comprehensive, 24-hour care.

I would like to see his number given to a deserving "walk on" or to the Defensive back who played the best in the previous weeks game

Wow that's great!
One possibility mentioned by Johnson: Walker may be put to work helping break down recruiting film.
Johnson says he is discussing the plans with Tulane players and working on plans to use Walker in a way that will fit in with his extensive therapy and rehab work.
