Steve and Bob, put this wherever you want -- I'm just passing it along as an item of general Tulane football interest.
Elijah Robinson, who was a Tulane football signee from Camden, NJ in 2003 that never qualified academically and ended up being released after a few weeks on campus, is on the Penn State coaching staff. He was a guy I remember us being very high on, but didn't clear the NCAA test scores until later that fall and had no interest in returning to Tulane. He was a beast though, a 300 lb MLB that eventually became an offensive guard. He ended up going on to play at Penn State and ultimately became a graduate assistant on the staff there.
Last week he was promoted from grad assistant to full assistant given the staff shakeups in the week, and coached from the sidelines for the first time.
Just thought I'd pass along, given the hype he had when he first arrived and his relation to these now infamous events.
