FAU Gameday Thread
We get any further behind and it will be tough to win. We have ZERO offense. We are better off taking a knee and punting and hoping the defense gets us a turnover.. These INT's are killing our defense.
Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..

Lee was looking pretty nice to me when I saw him in the summer, but he is not ready yet. He will get thrown all over field if he gets put in the game. This offensive line is not good.
Anyway, we still have time to win this game.

Gotta take Nick out. He can have no remaining confidence. I certainly don't.

We are top 50 nationally ranked in TOP. From a Greenbacker email:RobertM320 wrote:We're not winning TOP. Its 17:29-12:31 in favor of FAU.wavefan03 wrote:I'm out. Somehow we are winning time of possession without any scores. Perhaps if we mix up the play calling a bit. But what do I know.
It's fun to be 6 - 2. And the stats (after 8 games) are meaningful.
Category Tulane's national rank
(Offense)
Tackles for losses allowed 11th
Time of possession 33rd
(Defense)
Interceptions 3rd (15)
Fumbles recovered 8th
Turnovers gained 3rd (24)
Turnover margin 5th (+11)
Scoring Defense 48th (23.8ppg)
Red Zone Defense 28th (lsu 79th)
Rushing defense 17th (116.4 ypg)
Total defense 48th (381.9 ypg)
Passing efficiency defense 32nd
Tackles for losses 7th (66)
Sacks 41st (19) (lsu 51st)
I agree. Plus given Montana's history I think mentally you don't make him anxious about losing his job a second time and stick with him. The first few games our offense played well.RobertM320 wrote:I know CJ wants to give Powell some playing time, but if Montana's your starter, he needs the bulk of the playing time. He finally had a decent drive going last possession until he threw the pick, and then he's out. Don't like rotating QB's like this.
