Nick Montana is the only guy on the field that is hanging tough and playing smart. He needs to get in everyone's faces at half time.

Even down by 18, we are in this game. This team is so beatable. Why do we constantly screw ourselves?

Late hit, stupid, CJ arguing with refs instead of jumping Davis' sh*t. They'll score before halftime.

Another one. That's 30 yards in this drive.

2 Late hits in the same drive. Hey CJ when you don't correct mistakes and jump in someone's face, the same mistakes keep happening.

The difference between CJ and other coaches: the Syracuse coach is in the game, watching every second, while CJ just watches the game.

Both of those PF calls were kind of questionable

Absolutely. It's obvious. One guy is in control, the other guy should have just bought a ticket and sat in the End Zone.

Maybe 10 years ago, where football has gone in the last 10 years those were both obvious calls.

Of all the shitty things we've done today, giving up a TD on that drive might be the worst.

And in spite of all the punting woes and this last drive, we should easily have 28 points. The dropped TD on the first drive, and the blocked FG when we should have scored a TD.

Basically nullifies deferring to the second half.

We're not there yet. Coaches learning on the job, need an better OL and need tremendous work on the punt team to have a winning year next season.

30 yards on Personal Fouls, absolutely no discipline anywhere on this team. Simply suspending people doesn't create discipline. Real discipline means you don't have to suspend people. We are undisciplined in our assignments, actions, reads, etc. We play stupid, we are sloppy, team looks totally lost in all aspects except Nick Montana. CJ looks like a lost fan who wandered into the stadium. Washington looks lost on the sideline. This is totally embarrassing. Coaching, Coaching, Coaching. As bad as the OL is they aren't the reason we are losing. I can take a tough loss at Syracuse, but this is a total disaster.

They'll easily score in the sixties, maybe reach 70 even if they call off the dogs.

I have to agree with this 100%. Is this Teevens 2.0? Recruit good talent, do nothing with it?

I subscribe to the belief that you can't learn on the job at this level. While you're learning and getting better, so is everyone else so you're constantly behind. CJ isn't some 35 year old whiz with a tremendous amount of talent and aptitude that has to figure some stuff out. He's in his 50's and been at every level, if he doesn't have it yet, he's not finding it. His best bet is to fire his defensive coordinators and bring in a guy who has it and basically let him run the team while he recruits. I don't think that'll work b/c we don't have the money to bring someone in like that, but this setup isn't working.
