Good to see the Defense really came to play this week...not. This is ridiculous.

Sloppy tackling by our D.
Griffin playing well
If the D can make some stops in the second half we will win!!!

Yes! I can't see UTEP winning if more pressure is on the QB. Griffin looks great and can help the Wave put up 35 points tonight if he can get the ball more.sader24 wrote:The game is there to be won. Defense is making alot of stupid mistakes, no pressure, cant tackle, jumping offsides.
Ball Sumrall!

We have plenty of quality/fast DL and LB's coming in
I don't yell. I don't scream. I don't argue. I just hit 'em over the head with a bottle.
Very true. It's good to know that CJ will never have a bad recruiting class.AugWave wrote:Eaglewave wrote:Offensive improvement in this game. The defense is playing too soft for me.AugWave wrote:Welp, at least we can say this: There is definite improvement on this team.

We are losing to a 1-6/0-3 team- how is that improvement? Both defenses are terrible- our dink and dunk isn't getting in the end zone.Eaglewave wrote:Very true. They lost to Oklahoma 24-7, Ole Miss by 17, and Wisconsin by 10.. I wouldn't call that terrible.ExileWave wrote:We are losing to a 1-6/0-3 team- how is that improvement? That was fuging horrible! The defense slept in the first half and the offense slept in the second. (Griffin played well.) That's it! I really thought we had enough talent even with our issues to win 6 games. Why do well look like we are at bible study on the sidelines! No hype! No anger! No heat! UTEP freaking sucked on both sides of the football. I really feel for Griffin and Monroe. I guess it took this lost for me to see the light for this season. We might go 1-11 this season.

We probably should have run the ball more today,we were getting almost 5 a carry not counting the sacks and we should really give the carries to Kelly/Darkwa, if the other two cant hold onto the football they dont need to be on the field. Atleast Butler has had a few nice carries, Rounds hasnt been productive at all. Also watching on the computer it seemed like we didnt really try any deep passes in the 2nd half, doesnt make much sense if that's true. We killed them there all 1st half.

There is no way the Green Wave should have lost this game. UTEP couldn't stop our offense and didn't even score in the second half.

Really? Name one DL we have.AugWave wrote:Eaglewave wrote:Offensive improvement in this game. The defense is playing too soft for me.AugWave wrote:Welp, at least we can say this: There is definite improvement on this team.

Tulane didn't have a stadium issue it had a program and facilities issues. To the new President- we want a new AD , a football facility and an IPF. We want top 25 programs in football and basketball the only two sports that count.
As far as I know Corey Smith from O Perry Walker is still committed, 6'7 245 Lbs rated #27 DE in the nation by rivalswavedat wrote:Really? Not nearly enough for our needs. Still don't even have one DT.
